Yeah, when I arrived at the site I realized that Wicked is saving marketing bucks by only putting ONE ad in the NY Times a year and not advertising here!

Posted: 11/7/08 at 10:06amI think it's sneaky way to promote a show -- BWW should be an objective site when listing its features, latest news articles, etc., etc. It's fine to advertise openly but this is almost like jamming the show down everyone's throat. Beware, Shrek monitors, readers may throw up and avoid the show.

Posted: 11/7/08 at 10:13amActually, I don't think I'd feel any different if it were for another show. Even though we all realize that Shrek paid for it; it certainly SEEMS as though BWW is endorsing it: and they shouldn't be endorsing anything.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
