So happy for them (especially Audra)!

Brilliant...absolutely brilliant! That was the best moment of the whole eve. Donna & Audra were so happy for each others careers and as friends, their enthusiasm shone thru. Can't wait to watch that on TV again. What an exciting moment.

Now if there could only be a tie at the Tonys because all 3 of those ladies (especially Christine & Donna imho) deserve moment of glory for their work in these 2 pieces.

The best part of all of that though was Donna Murphy mentioning Shawn Elliots so called, and highly fabricated stroke. Damn Donna, you still got it!

I could care less between these two ladies who actually wins the Tony. They're both such fabulous performers. I pick no favorites.

Neither one will win. This, in my opinion, could be their consolation prize, because Ebersole will get the Tony.

I'm so glad. Audra McDonald and Donna Murphy are my two favorite Broadway actors. Having to chose who to root for more was killing me.

They're all bravura! We're blessed to have all three of their varied talents on Broadway! This is a rockin' year for leading ladies!

Just watched the two lovely ladies receiving their awards. This is about the single most awesome thing to happen in musical theatre this year. Absolutely wonderful! :3

Hope these two talented ladies enjoyed their glory. Sit back and relax on June 10th though, girls. It's still Christine's prize.

Yep. I'll keep on doing it too. I'm really getting sick of some of our beloved posters trying to jinx Christine Ebersole.

Are there any sites yet that have a clip of that moment? Not living in New York, I won't be able to see it on TV.

I couldn't be more happy. I think this is wonderful. Both ladies are giving amazing performaces, that any other year would surley win a tony, but I think Ebersole is just giving a purley brilliant performace and she definetly deserves the tony. So I am so glas that murphy and Mcdonald get their glory

So, supposing that Christine, Donna, and Audra actually do tie June 10. Would that be the first three way tie in Tony history?

I don't think there will be a tie. Ebersole will go untouched.

Fine by me...

Now, I'm just wondering though. I know there was a tie between "Fiorello!" and "The Sound of Music."

I feel some research coming on...

I don't think there's ever been a tie in the leading actress in a musical cateogry, let alone a 3 way tie.

There have been two-way ties for the Best Actress in a Musical Tony. It just hasn't happened since 1968.
