I can't believe that anyone who ACTUALLY remembers the 80's liked that show. The movie was great. The musical never captured a character without a wink. It just didn't work for its source material. THere's a reason only a non-equity tour was formed. It sucked!

Well, opinions are like a-holes: everyone's got one! I just don't share yours, as I loved the show. It was pure entertainment and fun for me and I miss it. OH WELL.

Not true. The 1st US Nat'l Tour of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS was Equity and also had Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz headlining it.

Also... Samberg CAN sing and has done so many, many times on SNL. Let's not forget his and Justin Timberlake's now-legendary "D**k in a Box".

DRS went NET after its stop in Chicago, I believe.
It scaled down once again and became a piece of crap. Its terrible to see a great show like that.
