Angels in America RUSH

Has anyone tried rushing Angels in America this past weekend? I'm trying to rush this Wednesday for the two show day and am wondering what time I should get there.

If the show is sold out, does that mean no rush will be available? Or do they hold specific rush seats for those who line up?

I am not sure if they hold seats back or not, but I rushed on Saturday. I got there a little after 5am (maybe 5:05?) and was #8 in line. Before the box office opened, they came out and said they had about 20 tickets, at that point the line was pretty long and some people left, but there was still a very hefty line when they opened the box office,

Did anyone ever find out whether they'll still have rush tickets available tomorrow despite the shows being sold out?

Casedilla2, I can't answer your question about rush being available, but I work near the Downtown Brooklyn TKTS booth and tomorrow's matinee was up for 50% off this afternoon around 3pm. If anything, TKTS could be an option for you tomorrow if it's in your budget.

Went to the box office today and they assured me there will Be rush. 4am is allegedly when people got there on Saturday! I ended up buying tix there to save the trouble - $69 for Friday and Sunday shows.

Somebody else mentioned TKTS and that's definitely your best option. Got premium seats on Saturday for $90 PER PART and not only that but it was the best show I've seen on Broadway. If you don't want to wake for rush it's slot better to get those second row (not front, which seemed too close) for cheap do it. It was my first time on TKTs and no doubt would see Angels again if I could. Good luck getting tickets!

Oh that’s good info, thanks so much! I was already on the train into NY when I saw this however, so I am currently in the rush line.

Speaking of, I’m just planning on getting a ticket for myself, so if anyone is interested I’d be happy to grab a second ticket for someone in exchange for helping to cover the cost of my ticket, PM me if interested

I got there at minutes to 8 this morning. All the cheats seats were gone since there were at least 20 folks on line who woke up much earlier than me. Box office said THERE WILL BE NO RUSH TOMORROW, 7/11. 

Also tried TKTS which had them listed while I was on line.But when I walked over it had been removed from the list bc of a glitch that wouldn't allow them to sell tix. Annoying.

Anyone any idea if there will be rush tickets tomorrow? Was planning on heading there tomorrow morning? Also, any recommendations as to how early I’ll need to be there to make sure I get a ticket?

There were no rush tickets this morning... but there should be tickets at least tomorrow. Supposedly there will be a paper on the door or something if there aren’t rush tickets on Saturday or Sunday

Got to the box office at 7am & I was 9th in line. The people in front were there as early as 5am. Around 9:30am they announced they weren’t doing rush for that day & all tickets were sold out for tonight’s show I think they said they are doing rush Friday & Saturday, though.
