My feelings on Annaleigh are that she is a beautiful singer and was very funny in the role of Margot, but as Glinda, her comedy didn't seem to work in the role. Just my opinion. I do think, however, that she should consider Inga in Young Frankenstein, she would be fantastic!

Other than Chenoweth, Loprest is the best Glinda I've ever seen.

I know DefyGravity777 has seen Lindsay K. Northen play Glinda. She'll have to tell you about her. I hope to see her soon.

I also saw Katie Rose Clark and thought she was brilliant in the role (and I'm not a big WICKED fan). Of course, as someone said earlier, no one can come close to touching Chenny in the role she created.

WoW2,
As adamgreer said I have seen Lindsay and she is great. I saw her twice. She is a very sarcastic smart-assed Glinda. Her voice is incredible. She is one of the best vocally IMO. My only problem with her is she was so mature in Act 1 that she had no way to grow in Act. 2.

She was just recently on and while I never got to see her again she told me that she has been working on the role since she went on in May. She changed some things up to make it better. I'm hoping to see her again.

She is a sweetheart at stagedoor and anywhere else you would happen to see her.

"I don't think she is still attached to the Addams family because they posted an open call for wednesday addams on Playbill."

Well, the next reading/workshop for it is in late January, around the time Wicked is closing in Chicago, so Annaleigh can't do it then. But there's still time before the show hits Broadway, so who knows.

How come everytime someone mentions Annaleigh, it starts another love/hate her as Glinda discussion? re: Annaleigh Ashford?

Annaleigh was Wednesday is the first reading because she (as an adult) could learn the material quickly, the role will probably played by a much younger actress.
Annaleigh is a wonderful commedienne, I didn't see her in WICKED but she is in the new Jonathon Demme film, RACHEL GETTING MARRIED, where she has one line, but got a big laugh when I saw it.
