I would NOT be surprised if she did. I hope she does come back, she was brilliant in the role.
I could also see her being Becky's replacement on the LB tour, or Inga on the upcoming Young Frankenstien tour.

that would be great if she replaces kendra, and if family addams picks up too. i wish her all the best.
i have nothing againist kendra either, i wish her the best too after wicked.

Posted: 10/6/08 at 8:57pmI adore Annaleigh, and probably would run to the Gershwin if Annaleigh ever came back to Wicked just to see her perform as Glinda live again. However, I hope she does something new after she's done in Chicago. I would love to see her in The Addams Family as well, or even Catch Me If You Can (if she's even still attached in that?). Over the summer, Annaleigh said that she doesn't know what she's doing after. I can't wait to see her back on Broadway.

Okay- let's get to the bottom of this.
I saw Annaleigh once, on the evening of April 5, 2008 performing opposite SJB and had the audience in stitches, and me as well!

Posted: 10/6/08 at 9:30pmI saw Annaleigh 12 times(In NY and Chicago) and everytime she has made me laugh ALOT. Only Katie Rose Clarke has made me laugh harder. I have seen 6 different Glinda's also.

Of all the Glindas I've seen (Chenoweth, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Megan Hilty, Kate Loprest, Kate Reinders, Kendra, and Stacey Morgan Lewis), the only one worse than Annaleigh Ashford was Kate Reinders. Of course, no on has come close to touching Chenoweth in the role, but that's besides the point.
My main problem with Ashford was that her Glinda lacked any depth. There was little transformation in the character between acts 1 and 2. To be honest, however, most Glindas have this problem, however.
