You miss the point yet again.
Your inarticulate and intellectually feeble posts on this thread suggest to me that you do not have the intelligence to understand Equus, irregardless of who is playing the lead. You are also self-deluded enough not to realise how little you understand either of the posts on this thread or the play itself.
For example, you quote me as defining perversion which I have not done. Continue to make a fool of yourself by responding to me if you wish - I shall be amused to read but will not waste any more time responding.

Irregardless is used when people don't actually know the english language or realize that it creates a double negative of regardless, completely nullifying your point in using the word. Check websters and you'll probably see it listed as "incorrect."
You make me giggle.

I have a feeling its teeny weeny.
I can only assume you never saw the unedited photo shoot. It certainly wasn't teeny weeny in those.
REGARDLESS, the London reviews of Radcliffe's performance were mostly positive with some out-and-out raves. Not to mention it is a brilliant play. I only wish I could see it. The Broadway production, I mean. Not Radcliffe's penis. I've already seen that.

Good LORD, je veux te voir2, is that a little ad hominem being wrongly used I see there?
"A thinks X. A also has something objectionable. Therefore EVERYTHING A SAYS IS BAD AND WRONG."
Seriously, that's just a version of "Roman Polanski slept with a 13 year old. Sleeping with 13 year olds is terrible, therefore 'Chinatown' is a terrible terrible film!!!". Which is basically a wrongness, because no matter where Polanski liked to stick it, 'Chinatown' is a cracking piece of cinema that still remains effective today.
Keep your argument on-topic and stop being such a facetious little turd. Seriously, you're going to have to do MUCH better than that.

what about the fact that scripps said to je veux fitting the exact scenario that you speak of weez?
He said he didn't like Radcliffe's acting so the only reason he would ever think of seeing the show was the natural curiosity of seeing a celebrity naked. Then scripps thusly saying that because of that he might as well watch a porn? That's the same point A to C logic.
I'm so tired of so many people on this board. Superior, unwarranted-elitist assholes.
Je veux's A to C logic makes perfect sense in this situation however, in this situation. How does his not seeing the play because of his view on Radcliffe's lackluster acting ability and making a statement that was clearly more joke than anything about only thinking to see it because of the nude scene, mean he's uncultured and in need of a replacement porn....
I'll probably receive just as many asshole comments as je veux did.

I'll be frank and honest with you; some days, I just like arguing. And as I generally get on well with Scripps, as much as one can get on with "imaginary internet friends", I'll take his side. If we all chose to call it a day and step to one side, we could probably easily draw the following conclusions from this thread and just move on:
- Daniel Radcliffe does not generally inspire confidence in his acting abilities, which some people would consider enough of a drawback to not want to see 'Equus'.
- There is a ridiculous amount of kerfuffle around a spot of nudity when one considers that the play is not about naked boys.
- There ain't nothing wrong with a naked form, nor is there anything wrong with having a healthy interest in a naked form. "Healthy" being the operative word there.
- "Irregardless" is totally not a word. But it's also totally not the worst crime against the English language this site has known.
- The internet would be a much happier place if we were all nicer to each other.
- Men playing horses are hot.
Shall we all step back and be friends now? Je veux, I'm sorry for having a shout at you. As I said, it's my own problem, some days I just like arguing even though it is not a good and healthy way to be. I promise to work on being nicer if all the principle players in this discussion agree the same. Shall we give it a go? :)
