The current Broadway revival of 'Annie' will begin a national tour in the 2014-15 season. I hope it comes to my hometown. The only production of this musical I've ever seen is an 8th grade production that features my cousin as Bert Healy.
Tony-Nominated ANNIE to Launch National Tour in 2014-15!
Yay!!! Can't wait to see it :)
Hm, I know it's a different production... but didn't a national tour just wrap up a couple of years ago?

Will there be lotto? Does anybody have a list of how the obstructed view seats are in every venue the tour will play?
TIA
Will Willow Smith play Annie on tour?

There was a non-Equity tour of the show that was a very scaled down replica of the Martin Charnin staging that was kicking around for a number of years (I'm assuming that is the tour you are thinking of).
And I'm sure this will go Non-Union after a year. This kind of show kills in the smaller markets.
AEA, probably! I never saw the tour, just knew one existed.

Anyone think Rosie will tour as Hannigan?
^^
Oh God, no, please, don't even mention that.
Why does this seem like the most useless tour news ever? I live in Seattle, and I think three different school/ameture companies did Annie last season. I don't feel the need to pay $40-$70 to see it...
