You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

Isn't the #1 symptom of mercury poisoning ripping the sleeves off expensive shirts? I thought I read that somewhere...
Call the understudy / I can't go on tonight / I'm drinking with my buddy / I'm getting good and tight / Before they raise the curtain I'll be higher than a kite / So call the understudy I can't go on tonight

He's bizarrely sensitive to criticism. I don't know how he could have gotten as far as he did if he gets so upset whenever anyone criticizes him.

Can we blame this on high mercury levels, too?

re: Another PIVEN outburst

another short section mentioning Piven outburst:

http://music.msn.com/hotgossip/1-26-09_4/?GT1=28102

(half-way down the page)

the best part of it was this sentence:

As for bailing out of the play weeks before his contract was up, a production insider sneers, "Jeremy Piven proved to the world that he's a television star, he's not an actor."

I sort of wish the Emmys snub him out of a nomination this year, so NPH can finally win.

re: Another PIVEN outburst

Is anyone else puzzled by the fact that this photoshoot was done back in September?

If this thread is to celebrate his douchebagness, then I'm all for it.

I'm just wondering how this is relevant to his mercury fiasco

Please. Rainn Wilson and Jack McBrayer get Emmys first.

Hell, it'd be nice to see anyone BUT Piven get an Emmy, especially when his character has been repeating the same schtick for the last two seasons.

Not really, most of the articles about this photo have said in one way or another that they're just coming forward about the incident now because since he backed out and has behaved so poorly, it's now okay to talk about this photo shoot.

re: Another PIVEN outburst

It's relevant to the mercury fiasco because it's another example of Piven being a self-centered diva who's terrible to work with.
