Hahaha all of you guys called it xD Can't wait to see more reactons
I am getting more and more disinterested in this with each casting announcement.
Really, what's bad about him?
I'm excited...however, the RENTheads are going to be all over this like Oprah on a baked ham.
Who's next, Wilson Jermaine Heredia?
"OMG!" Really! Did Tiger Beat sponsor that news post?
Three exclamation points in a lede.
Oh, BWW. Off to punctuation jail you go.

Wait, wait, wait. Can we analyze the fact that the first 'word' on the first headline of BWW right now says "OMG!" ?
Who the hell is writing these headlines?
@Liza Have you read the recent Carrie Underwood article? It was pointless. I wonder who wrote that (hmmmm....)
I'm just glad he's doing something other than Rent.

I was thinking the exact same thing headband. I wish that you could have seen my look of disgust as BWW loaded. Ugh.

"the RENTheads are going to be all over this like Oprah on a baked ham."
The RENTheads weren't even all over the revival of RENT like Oprah on a baked ham. They have moved on to other obsessions.

Fella, it's crazy. Could you imagine if Playbill pulled that

"Moved on to other obsessions" Like?

I know, I am aware. It's pointless. But I also get that. BWW has been doing that for years. Much different than taking a real, authentic announcement/story and adding in an "OMG!" before it.
What are we, thirteen years old? Did Perez Hilton buy this site? C'mon.
A good nightmare comes so rarely!

Not to mention there are simply no RENTheads any more. Sp far, I think the cast is intriguing and I'm excited to hear the new material from this creative team.
I'm not saying this because of Rapp's casting, but I have to say, this whole project seems pretty bland in comparison to the work the creative team and actors have done, I know Menzel is an "orginal material" snob, ie. she is disinterested in doing revivals, but this source material seems a little like eat, pray, love, minus the eating, praying, and loving! A show based on a mid-life crisis and finding yourself again...hmm, we shall see, and her loyal fans will keep it open, but let's see what the out of town reviews yield.

Like?
Many of them moved onto Wicked, and then Spring Awakening, and then the infamous Next to Normal groupies. I fear many have now moved onto Pippin and it seems only logical this will become the next obsession.
