Obviously we all know that he got a Tony nom, even so I think he's remained somewhat underappreciated where the success of this show is concerned, AND on this board; unless I've missed something.
For myself, I really liked his reprise of "Chip On My Shoulder" - anyone else notice his little "kick-in-the-air" in the midst of the number that I thought was kinda cute?
Anyway, in total, I think the guy's great - yet thought he came off as kind of weird in SPAMALOT, but, then again, it was the role.

He’s adorable in LEALLY BLONDE. He’s got great comic timing, and his understated approach to comedy works really well. I’d love to see him in something else someday.

I am not a fan, mostly cause he snagged my best girl...Sutton. Hahaha. He's good, but not my favorite. He'll never match up to a Gavin Creel or Matthew Morrison for me. Mostly because he doesn't fit the leading man role looks wise since he looks like such a goof.

he is so amazing, he is wonderful in legally blonde and is so beautiful. he fits the part of emmit perfectly and has a wonderful voice

and now LEGALLY BLONDE.

Thank you for posting this thread...i was about to start one. I think he's amazing in LB and his comedic timing is so great and his acting is very subtle. I do on some level wish he would win the Tony, but i don't think it will happen. He has really good charisma and you can't help but like him. Plus Chip on my Shoulder is probably my fav. song from the show.

p.s.
if i have gramatical errors...no one cares so don't point them out.
