Any News On A LADY DAY Recording?

I'd imagine this is the kind of thing that would require a live recording to keep with the feel of the show. Has anyone heard anything about it being done?

I am torn about if it should be sung in character or Audra's natural voice. I mean anyone can download Billie Holiday's greatest hits.

That's how I feel. I mean I loved it in the show, but don't think I'd care to hear it again just on its own.

I haven't seen the show yet, but is she really that close in voice? I mean, she's definitely amazing, but I would think the recording will be "in character" and then we can melt into hearing Audra's version of Holliday.
