Are there shows that need houses?
Updated On: 1/13/10 at 10:56 AM
From all reports, Love Never Dies will be going into the Neil Simon in the fall.
Rumer Willis, most likely.
Maia, sweetie, two things:
1. Your obsession with what's going into the Neil Simon Theater next is very unhealthy;
2. Learn how to spell. Rumors
Kisses!
I heard Spelling Bee was coming...
DAMN IT, givesmevoice. I was just about to post a picture of Rumer Willis.
But in all seriousness, are they really gonna keep the theater dark 'til LND opens? Hmm..
You can still do it, rOcKS!
When is LND supposed to open? November? I'm sure some limited engagement of something can slip in there.
Rumer and Demi can do a revival of 'night, Mother. Why not!

The title of Neil Simon's play has always been spelled R-U-M-O-U-R-S
Thank you very much.

Rude? I thought I was being nice.
And what's wrong with my picture?

Well didn't the Lunt sit empty since Mermaid closed?
The Neil Simon also sat empty from the time of Hairspray's closing to Ragtime's load in, although Robin Williams was supposed to perform there until he had to have surgery.
I wouldn't be shocked if something like those acrobats that were in the Marquis for a stint last year, or that weird Cirque show that was at the Broadway before Shrek played a few months this spring/ summer.

There's talk about a revival of CRY-BABY which will be recorded live for a CD.
Kalimba,
Sweeney Toddler's comment was a racial one. He was saying that he expected you to be angry/mad due to the fact that your black.

Sweeney Toddler, your username fits you, as your comment was very infantile. Grow up.

"Well didn't the Lunt sit empty since Mermaid closed?"
Little Mermaid was evicted for The Addams Family. Any show that would have booked it would have had to be a limited run.
Same thing with The Neil Simon. Lloyd Webber has the theater booked. Any show going in knows it is only available for a limited time. Ragtime knew. If it been successful enough to where it would have needed to vacate, the producers had started making plans for set modifications and changes for a new venue.
It amazes me how racist comments easily fly on BWW.
I know, right? Racist b@stards get off scott free.... and us theatre queenies get crucified!
This board is a mess. xoxo
Sweeney Toddler...you are a racist douchebag.
