I don't know what Doyle's relationship with the ROUNDABOUT is, but the thing he did with Malcolm Gets and Donna McKecknie sounds like it would fit there like a glove.

^That thing John Doyle did is called "Ten Cents a Dance." It's quite beautiful and I'd love to see it on Broadway!

Seems rather strange to have a big open theater and not have something in it. I know Roundabout owns it, but why not allow other shows to come in and rent it for a specific period of time?

You guys should have seen the musical KEPT! that played out in the suburbs of San Francisco 6 or 7 years ago. Score by the guys who did Dreamgirls, believe it or not, and hinged around a gigolo in 1975 Manhattan and the Hamptons who was, of course.....
KEEEEEPPPPPT! Lots and lots of scenes set in Studio 54, but all of it painfully bad.
I'd rather see a stage musical of the Mike Myers film "54" from 1998-- that at least had Ryan Phillipe in short-shorts and roller skates to keep us all amused.

I think "Ten Cents" would look great in Studio 54, but it's not my favorite theater in the world (mostly for the lack of legroom in the rear mezz). The size does seem pretty right for it, though I'd prefer it to be produced by Lincoln Center than Roundabout.

They should do a SLEEP NO MORE type thing where you follow different celebrities around the place. You could go downstairs and do coke with Liza and Binanca Jagger or go up in the balcony and do the bus boys with Peter Allen and Andy.

I think that's the best idea for a "theatrical" event I have ever heard. PLEASE someone get Stephanie J. Block to be Liza again and just have to do coke for 3 hours straight twice a day every day.
