I just ordered mine today (yay, payday treat!). Anyone get theirs yet? Post a review!
Actually, they sent yours to me, Bobby.
And you'll never see your precious cd.
Not. ever.
That was fast, cause I ordered it 15 minutes ago.
that's how amazon rolls.
Bobby, let me know how it is. I just my Pajam Game today!
I will! I love the new Pajama Game cd. Those orchestrations are to die for.
I really must go purchase the new Pajama Game, I love it.
I just ordered SITPWG, I did not know it was available yet.
Oh yeah Penguin, PS Classics called, and they no longer want your business.
I just bought the Jule Styne in Hollywood Cd. Great group of people. Audra, Norm Lewis, Victoria Clark, Kelli O'Hara, and Brent Barrett on one cd! Melt...
Yep, I would have purchased that, but it is true I was banned.
Well, someone had to tell Phil Chaffin that he should stop singing...
Is that an in joke or something or are you being serious?
I love his Warm Spring Night. Quite a few goodies on that album including the title track which far exceeds Marcus Lovett's wimpy tenor rendition.

I don't like the new PJ Game CD, but I'm not a fan of the classic Broadway style. But the Jule Styne in Hollywood sounds amazing. Anything with Norm Lewis on it is worth buying. The new Sunday in the Park CD should be good too. I've been meaning to get a copy of that show.
Every musical you enjoy, RentBoy, owes itself to the "classic style".

That maybe be true, but that doesn't mean I have to like the "classic style." I can appreciate it, but I don't have to like it.
it's being sold at tower records. i didn't buy it as it doesn't interest me.
They have it at Colony Records but I didn't feel like paying $50 for something I can get for $18, I'll just get off Amazon.

$50? Is it considered an import?
Then I guess you don't really like musicals. Don't you also hate Sondheim?
Anyways, it's only 13.99 on PS Classics, and 3 buck shipping, it seems to be the cheapest (and fastest.) way of getting it. No it's not an import, Colony just prices their CD's way too high (and puts them on sale early, which is a big no no).

What does liking Sonhdeim have to do with liking Musicals? And different people have different tastes. Give him/her a break.
On topic here, I didn't even know it was out yet **goes to amazon.com**
I'm just being a bitch. I'll stop.
Shame, shame, shame **wags finger**
I think that's fair, Bobby.
I mean, a lot of people don't like Sondheim. That's absolutely fine.
However, when someone doesn't like classic musicals, and they don't like Sondheim, and they don't like this and they don't like that...isn't it safe to say that the label of "musical fan" isn't an umbrella term that is appropriate for that specific person?
I don't really see the point in labelling anyway, but since that's the type of society we live in it seems like a "rock opera, pop musical fan" would be a better description. And again...there isn't anything wrong with that.
