re: Anyone Seeing APPLAUSE!

Does anyone else find the cartoon posters tacky?

OR Christine is holding a TONY even tackier?

Why doesn't Beth get to hold one for her show? Oh wait, thats right, because Rosie is the cartoon centerpiece...

re: Anyone Seeing APPLAUSE!

I figured the Tony in the poster is a reference to Margo Channing in the play, doesn't the show star with Eve getting a Tony award and thanking Margo? In that case I guess it should be Davie holding the Tony...oh well. It is a tacky poster. Hopefully not a tacky production, Kathleen Marshall notwithstanding.

This is the art work for Nanette. I think it's much better than the alternative...

re: Anyone Seeing APPLAUSE!

Were seeing (chris & I ) Applause on 2/9 at the 8 pm show. Originally I was thinking of seeing the matinee but Chris wanted to see the show too. (bec. he likes Mario Cantone and a big fan of Christine & Erin) so I got us the $50.00 tix for Front Gallery...I cant wait for TDF...

So if you see us..say "hi" re: Anyone Seeing APPLAUSE!

We might stage door too (if there's stage dooring at City Center?) bec. we have not met Christine in person...we saw GG but did not stage door...

re: Anyone Seeing APPLAUSE!

The stage door at City Center is at 130 West 56th Street. It's the same entrance as the business offices.

re: Anyone Seeing APPLAUSE!

1. Can you stage door at City Center or do people do that there too?

2. Do I need to bring my binoculars for Front Gallery seats? (the $50.00 tix) Row A

Thanks

The view is good up there, but be aware it's VERY steep! Be careful. re: Anyone Seeing APPLAUSE!

You can stage door at City Center. There are more ways out of the building though than a normal theatre, so it's an easy place to sneak out of.

re: Anyone Seeing APPLAUSE!

there were a lot of people who stage doored after Gypsy, and I think the entire cast came out. I'm sure it won't be as crowded after Applause, but I could be wrong.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad
