Wow....I can't wait to get the whole CD. I've got mine reserved on Barnes and Noble....so on Tuesday morning, I'm there.

wow, i cant stop listening to the songs on Myspace!
"A Day Beyond Belclare" is kind of a life-maker, haha
And wow, i will have a hard time not listening to this recording.
Stephanie as well as everyone else sound gorgeous, and the orchestrations are really full and lovely.

It sounds so good! When we met the producers at the closing show, they kept saying how great the recording was but in the back of my mind, I kept thinking they'd pull a Lestat and not release it.
But this makes me sooo happy! It's so beautiful!

Fans of the THE PIRATE QUEEN will be happy to have it but sadly since it's a single disc, most of the smaller really pretty musical moments are not on it. I've been listening to it all day and am very happy to at least have this.

Thank you for confirming my undying love for Stephanie J. Block. When I saw the show I was blown away and I've never met a nicer actress at the stagedoor.
And now... she's proven herself again with an incredible OBC recording for the show.
It still breaks my heart the show ended as it did. Steph and Hadley Frasier were two of the absolute most talented vocalists on Broadway in my opinion.
I will be visiting the myspace link frequently until I get my hands on the CD itself! CAN'T WAIT.

My CD shipped from Amazon today. One day shipping so I should be getting it tomorrow, I guess. Before it said Thursday, but that was if it shipped on Tuesday.

I found it! But, oddly enough, I had to type in "Boublil" to get anything. For me
"Pirate Queen" still only shows the podcast when I search it.

Posted: 7/3/07 at 2:22amI'm not this show's number one fan, but listening to the cast recording really makes me realize what a shame it was that this show didn't do better. The album is quite stunning--very crisp and well-produced. I am very pleasantly surprised. With so much talent in the cast, its a shame the creative team couldn't make it work.
