Anyone here notice that JASON TAM can dance?

I'm pretty sure that anyone who has seen ACL has noticed that.

I too was struck with the thought after seeing the show that Jason Tam was a real triple threat if I'd ever seen one, which when I think about it more I've seen very few. Even in this current cast, a lot of people have their obvious strengths, ya know? But Jason was just amazing at everything!
I was also really awed by Chryssie Whitehead...HILARIOUS actress with such a fresh take on Kristine!

Chryssie is my favorite. My fiance and I were just singing "SING" the other day and we were hysterical.
I do think Jason was fantastic. His monologue was really moving.

I thought Jason was a standout when I saw the show. I really feel he is the only person in the cast who has a shot at a Tony nom.

He wasn't in the show when I saw in in early march, He wasn't even listed in the playbill. Did he take a long vacation?

Call it a hunch, but I'm guessing the casting people may have noticed... ^_^

Anyone here notice this thread's worthless?

I don't know that I understand why this thread is worthless. The poster was simply sharing their love for a particular performer and performance. I personally think Tam is one of the few cast members in the ACL revival worthy of a thread.

It's like saying did you realize that this performer performs? How ridiculous. Not necessary to make a whole thread about it...

Scot was just pointing out the fact that Jason is a really good dancer. It is kind of a suprise when you look at his work, you wouldn't think he'd be a strong dancer, especially since he doesn't have a big dance background.
I think your comment was rude an unnecessary. If it was so worthless to you, you could have kept it to yourself.

Psh, forget the talent part. The only thing that matters is that he is SMOKIN' HOT.

I found Heather Parcells to be the real standout the night I saw the show, her characterization was so complete.

If he's in A Chorus Line I hope he can dance.

g4rat, I'm not sure why you think Jason doesn't have a "big dance background". He graduated from CAP21 and still comes back to Tisch occasionally to hold dance sessions.

He's in A Chorus Line? Why wouldn't he be able to?

Really? I swear I've read an article where he said he didn't have a lot of dance experience. Oh well, he's still great.

And did we mention that he's damn hot?
Edit: TAM HOT!
Yes, it's late.

I think he took time off to make a movie or TV series.
He is a wonderful actor and he made this old Asain Man cry.
Someone put up that shirtless pic of him, please.

I just read that he will be appearing on One Life to Live from 18 May, he plays a high-schooler.

Jason Tam was one of the many highlights of ACL for me. I haven't seen any othe rproduction, so I cna't compare him to anyone, but he is incredibly cute and talented! His monlogue was incredible, and was very believeable. When he played Gavroche in the Les Miz tour, he had to go on one night as young Eponine! I would have loved to see that!
