Are you currently in a show?

I know we have had a thread like this a while back, but I dont think recently. What show are you in, if any? Do you have an upcoming audition, or what..?

I just finished Beauty and the Beast as Maurice
I have an audition for JCS this Tuesday.

Im in Unhappily Ever after as Cinderella, and i have audition soon for a community theater near mes season auditions

My beautiful sister is playing Mayzie LaBird in "Seussical". This summer, we're doing a reading of "The Glass Menagerie", with her as Amanda Wingfield, and myself as Jim O'Connor.

I did have an audition for the Sound of Music, but something tells me I should skip it since I already have a show in progress

Choreographing and ad'ing a troubled production of Camelot.

Auditioning for my first professional theater gig in a week and a half... generals. Scary!

Akvia, is that the Annie GYG that Donna is choreographing? There's one going on in TO at Massey in Sept but they're casting for it....which doesn't make sense for a tour....but also doens't make sense that they'd have AGYG going on twice in Canada at the same time!

Hah...That Massey Hall version seems to be the hot topic for our tour managers. Which is why it's looking like we might have to cancel the Eastern leg of our tour, at least for Toronto. I think what the producers are looking at right now is a sit-down production all summer in Calgary. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a tour but as of an hour ago apparently it's not looking so great. We shall see. Either way though I am for sure employed for the summer, which is nice.

WEIRD that it's going on twice professionally in Canada at the same time! It's hardly ever produced here, even with amateurs!
I hope it tours so I can catch you in the show!
Then again I just submitted my stuff for the Toronto show.
hehe.

I'm on costume crew for a play that closes today, then in 2 weeks i start rehearsals for a play (Lorca In a Green Dress) i'm Stage Managing in San Jose, then i'll come back down here for school in August and start rehearsals for another play (Dancing at Lughnasa) i'll probably be stage managing as well. Oh and for those that didn't know i finished stage managing Carousel 4 weeks ago..... life of a theatre major (stage manager).... never ending shows.... YAY!!! I hope this is what its like in the real world....

i'm asaka in "once on this island"....and i have upcoming roles as zerlina in "don giovanni" and susanna in "le nozze di figaro"

hahaha, those two are quite a jump from asaka aren't they??

I am currently working ON a show.

I just finished up a run of The Tale of the Allergist's Wife. I was the master electrician/assistant lighting designer.

Right now, to try something new...I am the sound board operator for a production of Winnie-the-Pooh.

My next project is a lighting tech/board op for the same Rocky Horror as John Popa. I am very excited!

There is a possibility I will design the lighting for a production of Snow White this summer.

In school I'm doing a musical spoof on Snow White, it's called Snow, Right? And the 7, no 8, no 9 Dorks. I am Mirror 1, lol, not a big part but tis fun anyway!
