Arielle Jacobs as Nina in the In the Heights tour?

I read this from Arielle's brother website: Follow the website and click on biography, is all the way in the bottom. http://www.adamljacobs.com/

"Adam?s sister, Arielle Jacobs, is also a performer and will soon be playing Nina in the first national tour of In The Heights starting September. She recently played Gabriella in the national tour of Disney?s High School Musical."

You might want to edit your thread title to specify what tour, since for all anyone knows you could be talking about "The Seagull."


I also don't see where that is posted on the site...?


EDIT: nevermind, I found it. She's pretty. I could definitely see her as Nina.

I was hoping they would get someone from the Broadway cast as well--not Mandy Gonzales, but maybe Krysta or Janet. Oh well, I'm sure she'll be great, I'm really looking forward to the tour.

I disagree with the idea of Krysta as Vanessa. IMO the music just does not sit well with her voice.

I know that they had open casting for the show, but who do you guys think will also be part of the show? I would love to see Bianca Marroquin as Daniela, I think she will be hilarious.

Not that she'd be leaving West Side Story any time soon, but Jennifer Sanchez (Rosalia) would be hilarious as Carla.


And I actually just got this reading through and old thread on the ITH message board but I thought it was pretty perfect. Karmine Alers as Daniela.

I've never seen Arielle do anything but heard she was quite good in High School Musical. Glad to see they actually cast someone age appropriate for this role. While I think Mandy is very talented, I almost burst out laughing when her character walked on stage and said that she just finished her Freshman year at Stamford.
