According to IMDB...this is the poster for Rob Marshall's yet-to-be-filmed adaptation of NINE.
When I heard they were "polishing" the script...I wasn't expecting this!

I mean, there's gotta be SOME italian people in boston right?
I don't know how this stuff isn't censored or run through some kind of accuracy filter.
LOL
I guess they decided that adding a little violence might widen its appeal :)
Can't you just picture Guido taking on both Liliane La Fleur and Stephanie Necrophorus in a wire-fighting kung fu duel to the death?
Thank GOD that its being reduced to a short film. With all the violence NINE had -- less is more in this case.

IMDB like Wikipedia is user written... I cold post that I am playing Claudia in the film. THere is NO editor on the site checking for accuracy.
Is that one hand with 4 fingers?
Well that explains the title.
Yeaston could write a song about that.
Now they get to add:
Academy Award Winner Javier Bardem
Academy Award Winner Marion Cotillard
gotta love IMDB
Darn it, you got me all excited!
I can see it now:
So, Stephanie Necropolis misses a syllable in her patter section of "Folies Bergere" -- the part that goes "The trouble with Contini, he's the king of mediocrity. He's a second rate director who believes that he is Socrates..."
Contini gets angry, points the gun to the floor and shoots off a toe for each missed syllable.
In Marshall's latest film, NINE is to be filmed with a single take on a hand-held camcorder held by Contini (Bardem will join the International Cinematographer's Guild Local 600) , who when he sings, pulls the camera away from his body and turns it around on himself like Jarret (Jimmy Fallon's character on SNL) -- confessional style.
It will change the landscape of film forever!!
Isn't this what Rob Marshall had in mind when he signed on to direct NINE?
Hmmmm.... two newly-minted Oscar winners, both pretty sexy with their careers at least temporarily on fire.
If they don't hustle this movie out well BEFORE Dec '09 to capitalize on this, the studio is dumber than I thought.
I mean, 21 months???
Funny, but damn you for hyping me up! :P
