She's already played the role in London (as a blonde) and on Broadway (as a brunette) and to good responses. Yes she's quite young but she did quite well on many levels.

Brody, I was going to say the same thing. When she was originally cast for London, no one thought she would even show up. Then she went on to surprise a lot of people and apparently was very professional. People mature. I'd like to see what she can do.

I'm more surprised that Samantha Barks is Velma! I'm happy for her...but talk about young!
