Roger and Andrea ALWAYS do the stage door unless you go at a matenaee. then they may not.

Megan sometimes will come out and other times she sneaks out the front.

It seems like Sutton is out a lot. How's her understudy?

She was out when I saw it a few weeks ago. I liked the understudy, don't remember who it was, though.

Hope everything is okay with Sutton! I have heard great things about her understudy.

Sutton is on vacation for a week.

re: At YF and Sutton is out

megan and andrea were at the stage door when I went, roger wasnt.

The family next to me had their son who was in sweden on the phone and megan talked to him...i'd guess that he was pretty excited about that.

And Sutton was understudied when I went and I was like aw man. Her understudy was good, but you know...it's Sutton Foster >.<

Roger and Andrea don't always come out.

re: At YF and Sutton is out

Suttons undestudy was pretty good. But I'm sure sutton was better. Andrea and megan did the stage door. Both very friendly. And megan is very beautiful. And tiny! Roger and chris did not do the stage door and security said it had been a while since they had done it. Shuler was not there either.

Overall I thought the show was lots of fun. The special effects and sets were the best I've ever seen. Just amazing. The cast was hilarious. The weakness was the not so memorable score and sometimes stale and uneven book. But the cast and scenery was stellar and I thought it was far from being a "turkey"

You, my friend, are very much incorrect.
I went to the evening performance of Young Frankenstein on Wednesday, November the 28th, and only caught Andrea, Shuler, Megan and Fred at the stagedoor, Sutton, Roger and Christopher didn't come out, and I waited for a long, long while - then the few of us who were there were told, "That's it." as the security removed the barricades. So, don't make assumptions like that and give people false hope, when it doesn't always hold truth. Thanks.

Best,

When I saw it, Andrea, Roger, Fred, and Shuler did the stage door, as did Molly Shannon who was attending the performance. re: At YF and Sutton is out

Can Molly Shannon sing?

re: At YF and Sutton is out

Molly Shannon has a high profile pilot in development at NBC that is likely going to series, which would prevent her from doing any theatrical venture in the near future.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Yeah, and don't 99% of sitcoms starring former SNL cast members fail?

Wanna Be a Foster, no one said the show was going to be a hit. All I meant was that, if it gets picked up, she'll be tied down out in LA for at least the next year.

I think the best replacement for Mullally that they could get (apart from Chenoweth, of course) is Jane Krakowski, I can SO picture her doing a hilarious "Deep Love." She would probably never agree to do a replacement and she is also tied up with 30 ROCK but how great would it be if it happened?

re: At YF and Sutton is out

I bet the producers will offer Mullally a gazillion dollars to extend beyond her one year contract.

No high profile actress with any talent will take a replacement gig, and if and when Krakowski comes back to Broadway, I pray it will be to reprise her Olivier Award Winning performance in GUYS AND DOLLS.

To play Elizabeth, you need to be able to do hardcore comedy and SING like it's nobody's business but your own.

It's more a matter of when than if, even when she was doing ALLY MCBEAL Krakowski never stayed away from the stage (she had a magnificent turn as Mabel Normand in the Reprise! production of MACK & MABEL). And I couldn't agree more with you re Krakowski reprising her role as Miss Adelaide, from what I understand, she stole the show.

To get back to the subject of who comes out the stage door (if people want to discuss replacements make a new thread)when i went only SUtton, Megan, and Andrea came out. And I was shocked even they did since it was raining so hard that day. But this is a cast with a lot of people who do not consistantly come out the stage door, so it is a chance you have to take.
