Hello, I would like to know if there is any sort of audience participation in the following Broadway shows in NYC:

Mamma Mia!
Kinky Boots
Jersey Boys
Chicago

If there is, please describe in detail how the audience participates. Thanks

I'm pretty sure there is no audience participation in any of the shows you listed.

What is your obsession with audience participation???? Could you not have just bumped your previous thread about it?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Well, there is one "slight" audience participation moment in "Chicago". At the finale, when both Roxie and Velma finish their speeches, they each toss a couple of roses to the front row. That's the extent of it.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
