Audition Ethics

hey..just a random question

a few days ago i auditioned for wizard of oz at my school, wanting to be dorothy (like the whole planet right? jaja)....anyway, i made the callbacks, but i didnt make the dorothy callbacks. this is VERY wierd, cause ive been praised by the auditioners as being the most talented singer/actress at the school many times before (prolly cause im the only one who wants to do this for a living), plus i really do fit the type!

anyway, regardless of that, how wrong would it be to go up to the audition ppl and ask them for a reconsideration, maybe a second audition? and if so on what basis do i do this??? or do i just content myself with a nonsinging role (which is every other woman on the show, since they took out all the glinda songs)

and mebbe it does.
but no, the show's in english, film version. (i go to an english speaking school)

ALSO im one of the few who's english is close to normal, although that doesnt really count for anything i guess....

hey i never heard u post urself singing...still want to listen to this, even if its in french

wickedkiwi - Yes, it's poor etiquette to ask for a second audition. If they did it for you, they'd have to do it for everyone. And you can't be all, "But I'm a FANTASTIC actress, everyone says so! You made a mistake - listen to me again!" It's poor form. Be happy with the non-singing role.

Pienso que ya hay una traduccion de sobre el arcoiris.

HEHE, yo rei porque tuve que decir arcoiris en Mon Histoire - solo estoy (pienso que es nombre de la version mexicana - tengo tres versiones espanoles - de Los Miserables).

Naci en Francia. Tambien tengo la version completa del espectaculo (o tu dices show en mexico - si?)Renta. Las personajes no son los mejores pero...lo que sea. Yo puedo mandarte la musica y el libreto.

Lo siento, pm me. No quiero que todos tengan mi im.
