Just curious, what about singing "Hold On" from Secret Garden? Any better ideas? I'm a mezzo/belter.

There are some pretty good suggestions in this thread.

as someone who sits on the other side of the audition table I would be very impressed if someone sang "every story..." from Aida.
Start at "this is a story of love..."
It would really show your rang (required for the narrator) and really get everyone's attention
just my 2 cents...
i would sing a song that shows that you can hit very high notes. Maybe "the beauty is" from LITP
Don't sing the opening to Aida. There are likely to be many people singing it.

Maybe something like 'Rainbow High' from "Evita" or even the "He supports you for he loves you" parts in 'A New Argentina'.

I used "Unexpected Song".
Green Finch and Linnet bird???? Boring, but it has the range

"Boring, but..."
Only for the undiscerning and taste-free.
Magenta, you'd do well going in with something that displays not only range but also demonstrates storytelling abilities, like JRTO's suggestion. She is a narrator after all.
