Anyone know if there is a compatible app available to stream Bandstand (and other Playbill offerings) on streaming devices, such as a Roku?
Given the state of theater or lack of these days, what are the chances that we might see original Lincoln Center archived productions housed at the NY Public library on streaming services? I’m not sure about property rights and equity rights and such, but wouldn’t that be a great way to raise money for certain important causes and give the public a chance to see popular productions in their original forms?
Zero. ZERO. ZE.RO.
Look at the Disney concert fiasco that was halted by the unions and that was a charity event. There is no chance in all of hell that any Lincoln Center video will be streamed. You have a better chance of Patti LuPone coming to your house and tucking you in and singing you a lullaby tonight.
I doubt it, I just wish they would broadcast South Pacific with Kelli O'Hara because I have never seen it. grumble grumble grumble.

I purchased this last night and plan to watch tonight. I'm excited to see it for the first time.

I’ll gladly welcome that as long as she’s wearing a mask!!

That was an odd one. Live From Lincoln Center enforced its usual two broadcasts per station limit, but since there were quite a few DVRs around by then, as in thousands of them, it was not hard to record it yourself or purchase a recording transferred to DVD.
Alan Alda gives this the perfect introduction.
