I'm am beyond the point of exhaustion and need to be up in 6 hours, but oh well!
RustyJusty, I think I saw you at the table. Were you with a friend with dark hair? Wearing stripes? I swear I recognize your hair. LOL
I had a really fun time despite the fact that I'll probably wake up with pneumonia. I was freezing, and I'm never cold. So here's my bonehead move of the day, which considering how many I have in a day, is quite spectacular. So they make you pay $20 to get on the autograph line, which is fine, it's for charity and all. I'm not exactly an autograph type person, I wouldn't know what to do with it since it's just a signature on a piece of paper. I'm also not a picture person because frankly I look horrifying in any and every picture I take and I take bad pictures of other people. So don't ask me why I even got on this line.
However, I was somehow pushed into the front of our little pack which meant I was forced to speak to these perfect strangers at this table, whom I couldn't pick out of a lineup if asked right now and since I didn't have anything to sign, had to take their little slips of paper just to make myself look semi-interested (David Garrison was particularly fascinated by the spelling of my name, which isn't really all that interesting...). Okay so I make my way down this line, with MoG and Newcomer following behind and I get to John, Michael and become so engrossed in whatever the hell it was John was saying to MoG, that I not only totally ignored Michael's entire existence, but also failed to so much as remember to ask them to sign a blessed thing. Yeah, hi, I'm the Michael fan, she's the John fan, what's up with me being the one distracted by John?
For my $20 donation to charity for the specific purpose of seeing John/Michael (and Jenna/Kaitlyn), I now have a bunch of autographs from people whose names I can't even remember and not a single thing from a Bare cast member. I couldn't accomplish this again if I tried.
Despite this, I still had a great time both there and at Creation Nation, which was... somewhere between hysterical and WTF? I'm not sure where it really falls. Michael and Jenna doing Lot's Wife? Worth every stinkin second of my utter exhaustion.
I also now have a new girl crush, and that would be Kristin Hanggi (I'm sure I'm mispelling that). I realize if I keep collecting girl crushes, I may as well just switch teams at this rate. But, but, but she's got some of the best hair I've ever seen (as a girl, this is important to me) and is unbelievably nice, and also very funny. Oh and Jesse Vargas, not exactly anything to cry about either. Yeesh. Why is everyone in this production so pretty?
All in all, a fun day. If I wake up hacking tomorrow, I expect that someone from the production will come cook me chicken soup for my sacrifice!
