By the way, it's official. Bare has officially made me sick. I just took my temperature and I'm running a mild fever. :/ But Jenna, Kaitlin, John and Michael are so worth it!

Complete ditto MoG! I came home from the Hairspray concert feeling like total hell. I took my temp and it was definitely 100.4º Yikes!

And now, to top it all off, I'm getting chewed out by my ex-boyfriend about now wanting to see him in his show. Gag.

MOG I agree about Kristen & the Bare group. I had a wonderful time with "me ladies" and I do enjoy their company very much. I am disappointed that I didn't go for ice cream, but my feet were DEAD. I am not looking forward to starting this faux internship today! TOO TIRED....MUST SLEEP!!

Oh & Trisky....since Britney & Kevin were married yesterday, we might want to speed up our nuptials!

I literally fell asleep while commuting into work, which I never, ever do. I'm one of those super annoying people who wake up before the clock goes off and couldn't fall back to sleep if you sewed my eyes shut after I've woken up. I'm also wearing my glasses, which is the first sign that my eyes burn too much to even attempt to stick my contacts in. LOL

I'm beyond tired to the point of silliness! I haven't gotten sick... yet. I can't afford to get sick anytime soon, MoG and I have too much to do in the next couple of weeks. Good vibes, good vibes...

For some reason I'm picturing Jenna holding the mop, trying not to laugh and Michael in the yellow rubber gloves holding the bucket with a totally straight face and I want to LOL, which might be inappropriate and hard to explain. But if I picture Michael doing his earnest/emotionally distraught rubbery face from the end of Lot's Wife one more time, I'm going to lose it entirely.

Oh & Trisky....since Britney & Kevin were married yesterday, we might want to speed up our nuptials!

Well let's see, I'm not free tonight, tomorrow, Thursday-Saturday, so that leaves us with Wednesday or Sunday. A midweek ceremony would probably be cheaper. :P

Then we can invest in owning a Coldstone's Creamery and live our lives smothered in cake batter ice cream. Mmmmm... yum.

Great! I can't type a whole review right now because I'm a little rushed for time, but let me just state that I adore Adam Fleming [more than I already did] after last nite. Oh yeah, and John Hill isn't half bad either...

Wow. What a week...

JCS opened last weekend, and went much better than I ever thought it would. And I managed to survive Hurricane Ivan by escaping to Orlando with my spiffy new not-at-all fake boyfriend. But, when I came home Friday afternoon, I discovered that a tornado had come through my neighborhood, and tore all the support columns off the front porch and car port. Somehow, the roof didn't collapse, but it's gonna cost a bundle to get repaired (and the insurance folks say it's gonna be a coupla weeks before they can come out to make an assessment). So, after scrambling to find some 4x4s in a town pretty much stripped of building supplies, my spiffy new not-at-all fake boyfriend (whom we will hereby refer to as Brian, since that is his name) and I managed to get the porch propped up, then rushed off to find a hotel room, because neither of us had electricity or water, and we had less than two hours before we had to be at the theatre. We didn't make it on time (the extra long shower for two may have had something to do with that), but we weren't too late. And with an audience of four people (all of whom were comped), we went on with the second weekend of JCS. Thankfully, the audiences were much better Saturday and Sunday.

Anyway, I still don't have electricity at my house, so I'm staying at Brian's (his power came back on Saturday), and hogging his computer, cause I was suffering from Bare withdrawal. One weekend of JCS to go, and rehearsals for Noises Off start tonight. (I'm playing Freddie. Brian's in it, also, as Tim.) Let the madcap zaniness begin!

On a Bare-related note, a friend of mine sent me a video of the Bryant Park concert from a few weeks ago, with Bare, Rent, Hair, and whatever else it was. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but looking forward to it. Also, managed to convert three more people while I was in Orlando, including Brian. Not that he had much choice, since I made him listen to Bare over and over again during the road trip. And (not really Bare, but I'm still jazzed about it), I bought tickets for the tour of Hairspray in January in Orlando while I was down there. YAY!!!

Glad the hell-ish JCS experience is over 13 and that you're safe and sound, even with the damage to the house. It's far more important that there was no damage to you! I love that you managed to pick up a new boyfriend despite breaking up, having a really, really bad job and living through hurricanes.

What are the rest of us doing wrong?

BTW, Steve, I'm sorry to hear Damon won't get to see The Big Voice, but with or without him, you couldn't keep me away from stopping by to say hi on Friday!

Of course, and in fact you're all in the wedding party! The groomsmen will be wearing Diesels, clingy black t-shirts and thongs (on the feet for god's sake, though the underwear are optional) and on the bridesmaids, something tasteful and elegant, like a micro-mini and belly shirt in hot pink.

What can I say, Britney inspires love everywhere.

I wasn't even looking for a new boyfriend. Brian plays one of the Roman soldiers in JCS, and he just walked up and asked me if I wanted to go out one night after rehearsal. I hesitated for all of about two seconds before saying yes. And he's ten years younger than me! Thankfully, I'm still pretty immature, so it's not a problem.

As soon as I walked away I felt the guilt! I was trying to avoid having to make small talk (I'm bad with small talk, I need a real conversation) with these "celebrities" I didn't know from adam. In fact one of my conversations with one of them, um, don't remember his name but know that he was unbelievably hot and from Guiding Light, consisted of me basically explaining to him that I had no idea who he was (in a nicer way) but would be sure to check his work out.

Now think about it, I know who John is, I know who Michael is, I'm there to see them. I've spoken to all of these people I don't know, spoke to Kaitlyn and Jenna (though again, hi, person I actually know=no autograph/picture anything) and finally get there, say something to Michael - what I have no idea (small talk, bad it, see reference above), swivel to say something else, catch wind of the conversation between John/MoG and forget Michael is even sitting there. I think I was so happy for MoG that she finally got to see John after my dragging her all over NYC to see Michael (without any protest, but still) that I was just caught up in her lust by proxy!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Forget it, the same way I guilted myself into finally saying hello to Jenna, I'll now have to make up for it whenever Michael is around next (which seems so far away now that they have no events upcoming but the opening of Bare).
