Notice the new subject. After watching all of this crap on tv with Bush and Kerry, I say Arden and Hill 2004! I mean, can you have two prettier people in office? I think NOT.
Anywho, reading through the last couple of pages and I'm TOTALLY out of the loop. Radio? Interviews? AHHHH. I've missed so much moving (AGAIN!). Now I'm upstate with my ex...and missing the city like WHOA.
So, just saying hi. Can't bring myself to listen to bare, it's just too much. *TEAR*
MoG...I'm still upset about this tree business. I mean, wtf?!?! Who put them here? And where are the damn subways?

There are some people in the world who say that writing stories, or composing music or dancing sparkly dances is easy for them. Nothing interferes with their ability to create. While I celebrate their creative freedom, a little part of me just wants to punch those motherf*ckers in the teeth...[tos]

Sorta, a scary thing??? Then again Saturday/Sundays never really seem like high posting days for some reason, just trying to make excuses for us???
We just need for Bare to open and then things will be back to normal!!!

Yikes, need to bump this up. Here's a topic: which of Peter's "dream sequences" in BARE is your favourite? Mine is "911! Emergency" (although "Wedding Bells" is also fun - yay for hot pink short shorts!).

Good one Blue!!! We have to keep this thread alive until Bare comes back *crosses fingers*
My favorite dream sequence is the first half of "Wedding Bells" before Claire comes in and everything goes down hill. Jason and Peter's vows are so beautiful.
"911! Emergency!" has sort of faded on me (GASP!) but everytime I listen to it I can't help but laugh. "Epiphany" has the scariest images ever, but Peter's anguish is so moving in a way.

Hey all! Just got back from seeing a reading of Scott Alan's "Piece" with Trisky and I thought it was brilliant!
And to make it Bare related, Jesse Vargas played the piano and we bumped into the beautiful Jenna Leigh Green and Scott Allgauer! :)
If the both of you should happen to read this (ahem) we're sorry that we didn't say goodbye! Ran to the restroom (because of the damn beer Scott convinced me wasn't ghetto to order :P) right after the show and couldn't find you guys after.
Hope to see you soon! :)
As for dream sequences, I really love the vows during "Wedding Bells" so I'm going with that one! :)

Those ARE great vows, aren't they? I love the fact that Peter and Jason are wearing matching white tuxes.

FG, I'm glad you enjoyed Piece!!!!!
Kind of glad I didn't go, in a way, cause it sounds like Andyf lied to me!!!!!
Personally, I enjoy 911! I think it's a fun happy number, and I love those kind of numbers, especially in a show like Bare!

Hey all! Just got back from seeing a reading of Scott Alan's "Piece" with Trisky and I thought it was brilliant!
Glad you enjoyed it. I love the song "Never Never Land." Just incredible.
As for favorite dream sequences, I haven't seen the show, but I really love "Epiphany." The whole bit about "There's A Bender Among Us" and Claire's memories of Michael's childhood always make me giggle. And the foreshadowing is well-done, as well. Of course, like I said, this is just from hearing it. Although I really like the vows in "Wedding Bells," the rest of the song doesn't do much for me.

Wow, I missed you guys soooo much. I feel so out of the loop. I had the best weekend EVER!!! Oh my gosh, I love the city, and I really, really, really don't want to be in classes tomorrow, particularly because I did no work. I'm going to post a review of all the shows I saw on the board in a little bit, but a couple things just for you guys:
I saw a poster for BARE on 52nd St... Started crying. Wow, I'm a dork...
Matt-You were right about Drew, I really enjoyed it.
Fake bf--thanks for the phone call!!!! I tried to call you back, but you didn't answer. You have no idea how excited I was to have a message from you!!!
Missed you all!!!
Oh, and my favorite dream sequence is definitely the vows in Wedding Bells.

Why do we play with fire?
Why do we run our fingers through the flame?
Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain?

Hey Guys-
New to Broadway World--and Bare, sort of. I saw the show in May and didn't get obsessed cause I figured I'd get to go again this fall. Oops. So now I'm going crazy--cause I always want what I can't have.
Anyway, there's been a lot of talk about the Wedding Vows. They're not on the sampler (right?)--so does anyone have the lyrics handy? I only saw the show once and barely remember them (though those matching tuxes do stand out in my memory . . . )
Thanks!

You can find lyrics to all the songs at www.geocities.com/barelyrics/
It's not absolutely complete, but it's pretty close!
Welcome!!!
EDIT: I've posted my review on the main page...read it! (Or skim it, it's really long)

Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain?
