I love the picture of Michael and Tyrone Giordano. Michael look absolutely gorgeous in the picture.

Shouldn't Tyrone be on tour with Big River? Or is the tour in the middle of stops right now, and he flew back to New York? I'm still kicking myself for missing Tyrone (and Michael) in Big River.

By the way, the grapevine says that Aaron Lohr and Eden Espinoza are now a couple. Congratulations to them!

Michael looks adorable as usual, and Tyrone is very handsome himself.

Looks like BKLYN is going to be amazing, I'll have to plan a trip for that, but first my BARE trip has to be finalized!!!

Alright, here's the predicament... a friend of mine hooked me up with a Bare audio bootleg, so I can basically listen to the whole show. But because I've never seen it in it's entirety, I don't know if I should. I'm already kind of spoiled thanks to some posts in this thread , and I definitely plan on seeing the show (a LOT more than once) come October, but still. It's so tempting. What to do? Please advise.

I don't think it's a big deal. It's like listening to a 2-disc recording of a musical like Les Miserables or Rent - practically the complete score - before seeing the show. It all depends on whether you do things like that, though (and since you've already been following the thread, you probably know all the plot "twists" anyway).

Since I'm a total spoiler ho, I probably shouldn't answer the question, but think of it this way... come October there will be some kind of changes, so you'll still be seeing it anew on some level. I couldn't have it sitting there and not partake, nope, couldn't do it.

Hmmm... thanks for the help, BW and Trisky! I usually listen to the cast recordings before I see the show (like I did for Rent and Avenue Q). Plus, I completely forgot that they're changing things around, so now I MUST listen to this bootleg. I'll think of it as a little souvenir of the beloved ATA run. *sniff*

Keep the b***leg a little quiet, we don't want our thread deleted because of that.

That being said, listen to it!!! Seeing a show on stage being performed is a whole other experience than just listening to it. Even though it is a pop opera, you still miss staging and facial expressions which are a huge part of the emotion conveyed. By all means listen to it, the show is going to be a reworked version in October, so you'll be seeing new stuff as well.

I can't wait to see the show and meet Michael

But Michael was kind enough to get another job, so I can get my Bare fix in some capacity. Good Michael.

ETA: A question that I've been wondering about. What are people's opinions on Romelda as Sr. Chantelle? The more I listen the more it bugs me that I can't understand half of what she's saying, which kind of makes the point of her songs get lost somewhere along the way. Any word on who is replacing her? (And is it mean of me to be grateful that they may get someone I can actually understand?)

Well, if Eden lurks, she was bound to see this thread sometime. And she'd probably click on it, because since she's Aaron Lohr's girlfriend, she'd be curious to see what people are saying about her boyfriend's show. And then she'd see all this rambling about Michael, tell Aaron, who would then tell Michael, and then he'd jump over here to check it out himself.

I actually do believe Michael lurks on - or at least visits - the BWW board sometimes. I have my reasons. I don't know if he reads this thread regularly, but I'll hasten to guess that he's bumped into it. I'm interested in knowing what he thinks about all this adoration, heheheh. (And if you're reading this, Michael, well....you know what I think. )

I actually liked her a lot. She was a younger, hipper kind of sister (or "sista"). I found her movements and nuances very clear and precise, and I liked the way she rolled her eyes.

lol MOG! I dont really know what i was doing but as long as it was bare related it was probably fun.

As far as romelda goes...When I first saw it I thought hmm I dont understand the fuss I cant really understand her and her singing is good but nothing special. Then I got more and more comfortable with her. and Now I think she is hilarious and although I only know what she is saying because ive listened many a time I still like her. But I am very interested in seeing the new Sister Chantelle in the fall.

I just got my ticket for The Woman Upstairs on October 2nd! I can't wait to hang out with my "old" Bare buddies and new Bare buddies. Bare Buddies---hmmm we should market that name!! LOL
