Grrr....why did I just lose my typed up post! GRRR!
Anyways, I'm going back to the what do u think will be changed in Bare topic. Here are the songs that I'm almost positive won't be changed:
Are You There
Quiet Night
You & I
Role
Touch
911
Portrait
See
Warning
All Grown up
One
10 points if you can guess why!

Because they're all on the CD sampler?

Yes, and I think, because of that, they won't want them to change. Because these are the songs that the General Public are familiar with, and they wouldn't like it if they came to the show and the songs they knew weren't in it.....
my thoughts....agree or disagree?

MoG!!! We have so much in common! Went to my new gym today...CUTE instructor assigned to me
He seems really nice, very informative.
Michael will be on my mp3 player and join me at the gym
EDIT: Agreed 2day4u, makes perfect sense. Though, you never know.

Agreed, because they also sing a few of those songs live when promoting Bare. If they make any changes to them, I'd imagine they'd be minor and barely noticeable.

No pun intended, right?
OK, one question....this might be a sight gag, and I have an idea of what he is whispering. But, when Peter is telling Jason about 911, he goes something like I saw the virgin mary, and she was ______, and everyone laughs. I wanna know why! HAHA

Good question 2day4u, I wonder about that too.
Also, during Epiphany, where they suddenly shift to Matt singing "If I could take a moment..." Like at the end, I'm guessing at the end it's during the valedvictorian speech or Jason's funeral. He sings the same part during Epiphany and I don't really get it. Explanation?

Peter whispers the word "black". It's really hysterical in person.
And you're right, AG, in No Voice, he's singing during the valedictorian speech. In Ephiphany, in Peter's nightmare a casket appears (beforehand, it's covered and the students are surrounding it, pulling him off and raising him in a Christ-like position, at some point he stands on it and it spins as well) and everyone is looking on mournfully, Matt starts singing and Peter can't figure out who he's singing about.

So Matt was Salutatorian...that's interesting, especially adds to his "hate" for Jason.
That's funny about Peter whispering "black!" I can imagine Michael doing that, so cute.

His face when the Priest tells them visibly drops, just another in a line of second bests to Jason it seems, first losing the part of Romeo, Ivy not being interested in him and now this.
You guys would get a kick out of Michael in the background of Wonderland, falling on the table and dancing with Nadia.

Wonderland sounds hilarious, I heard something about Michael flailing wildly on the table. The rave sounds cool too, just because I've definitely danced to the music of "Rolling"
How do they stage the rave with such a small cast?

It is quite funny (and also ironic in hindsight, since he's pretending to OD).
The rave scene is really, really well done. There's a small round, raised stage on the left side of the stage. The kids dance around that and in the background. They're wearing neon colors that glow in the dark with the lights around, so all you see are their arms/legs moving like flashes of light. Ivy is strung out in Matt's arms on the round stage and Peter/Jason coming running down the stairs from the platform above.
Michael's jumping up and down as a means of dancing almost made me snort out loud in person. Lucas gives them both some ecstasy and Peter/Jason take up Ivy/Matt's position on the round stage and do this slo-motion movement with their hands touching. It's really well done, a nice pre-cursor to Pilgrim's Hands, too.

Awwww!!! Michael is so adorkable. The rave sounds extremely well done. If I'm picturing it right, it looks really realistic for such a small cast. Can't wait to see the show!!! All this stuff makes me want October to come faster.

Seriously, October cannot come soon enough. I love hearing all these explanations of scenes! They need to make a video of Bare! HAHAHA....Another one of those threads....
OK, and I was really confused for a while, cause I always thought the thank u foreign exchange student bit in "in the hallway" was Matt, so I wa slike why is he talking at graduation? But that was probably Lucas, right?

Indeed! You'd probably be surprised by whose singing what in the chorus parts too.
A couple of those girls sound like Jenna, but it's not her.

I really want to see how "Epiphany" is staged, I've heard that the images are downright scary. The other thing I can't wait to see is "One." I've been staging the show in my head, and I can't wait to see how they do it. I definitely won't regret hearing the show before seeing it, there is so much more to a show than the music/lines.

*gasp*....There's shirts?!? Where can I get one!!!!
There are but I hear they're really big. As far as I know, you can only order them through the store on the Barees site and you have to have the points to do it.

Michael has sooo many adorkable moments in the show. He really is just so cute!

This was HYSTERICAL in person. I remember looking at you after he said it and just bursting out laughing!
Personally, I dig the Bare messenger bags that the cast/crew seem to have. I'd like to get my hands on one of those!
Me too! Didn't Michael have it on recently? Was it at "It's only Life"? Love, love, love!
With your luck, they're all gay, tho! LOL jk!
This is better for everyone involved that I can only look and not touch! O_O

YAY for new gyms and new hottie instructors. Le sigh.

I almost feel sorry for the rest of the cast! I need to make a new icon with both John/Michael. I just have to figure out what to put on it.

I didn't read the whole thread (god knows I detest this show with only two chords per song and not one memorable melody)..but I can tell you that the only characters being recast are the african american sister and the female swing.

My goodness, we've made over 50 posts in one day - so far!
Personally, I dig the Bare messenger bags that the cast/crew seem to have. I'd like to get my hands on one of those!
I want one of these, too. I wish they sold better souvenirs at the ATA; I need more than just a window card!
I loved it when Peter mouthed "black", it was one of the funniest parts of the show. The show had all kinds of little details like this - nuances in either how certain words are said, or how a scene is blocked. That's why I found the direction so wonderful, smooth and precise. Kristen Haggi is an extremely talented young director.
I really want to see how "Epiphany" is staged, I've heard that the images are downright scary.
It's great; Peter/Michael gets lifted in a crucifix position and carried around onstage. My only caveat is they use the crucifix imagery a little too much in this opening scene; once or twice will do, rather than 5 or 6 times. But you only notice that the second time around. The best thing about the "Epiphany" scene is how fast the dream sequence dissolves back to the "waking life" of the mass - while everyone continues rushing and dancing around back to their seats, Michael/Peter quickly puts his altar-boy gown back on. When the music suddenly stops, Michael/Peter "wakes" with a gasp.
And why would afa_composerboy bother entering a thread of a spring show he didn't like?
