It’s that time of year again!
Select Broadway, Off-Broadway, and national touring productions brought back the iconic red buckets on Friday for six weeks of autumn fundraising, through December 7. (More shows will join in the coming weeks.)
If anyone knows what the shows are offering and for what prices, list ‘em in this thread.
Oh Mary had cast signed posters for $250, Playbills for $100 and Jane was selling her book of sonnets for $500 signed “Knock yourself out, freak! Love, Jane Krakowski” she also said it had her “cheat lines.”There was only one which she should have auctioned but she said it would be with a random volunteer in the lobby. I couldn’t find said volunteer.
Just In Time was selling posters for $300 or $350 and Playbills for $175. For $20 you got a JIT box of matches with a tiny rubber duck (Groff said they were leftovers from opening night). Groff auctioned two of signed ties for $3100 each.

On Friday night the ties sold for 5K each! It was fun to watch. I was kinda stunned at how trusting they were about it though. Groff delivered the ties, took a selfie with the winners and then as an after thought pointed out a guy at one of the house exits they should find to pay. I'm sure the majority of winners are honorable people and will find the guy and pay, but it seems likely if they keep this system that at some point someone is going home with a free signed tie.
