merci, monsieur! :)
anyway, back to the real topic!!!
can you go after a show, and get signed stuff even if you did not see the show? just walk into the lobby and buy things?
i might (if i can) run down the street to some other theatres after i meet the cast of DIRTY to buy some more stuff from other shows...

The items are only sold as the audience is exiting. You can't stage door a show and then run to a different theater. There isn't nearly enough time. You can walk into the lobby, though, if you're there. Just tell the security people.
Just remember that only shows that are OPEN sell items.

alright, thanks!
ill just get as much as i can (and want) at DIRTY.
as for other shows stuff, ill look on ebay...they have everything on ebay!!!
:)
I think Patty Lupone has raised objections to the fundraising esp the money collectng buckets. Something along the lines of Bway audiences pay enough money for their ticket and shouldn't have to be "hit up" again. @ least that was the case back with "Noises Off". Perhaps she has changed her position? Or Not if Sweeny isn't participating.
Oh no, Patti! I hope Sweeney is going to do it! Keep us posted!
Sabrelady's right about Patti LuPone, unfortunately...

It must be deflation
Signed posters were $ 100 and photo ops with Hugh were $ 500 each two years ago. I guess the record of The Boy from Oz would be hard to beat. Michael Mulheren was the best auctioneer in town
I believe Ms. LuPone's only objections are towards the pleas onstage because the stage is sacred and should be reserved for performances only.
Sweeney did participate in Gypsy of the Year (buckets and all), so perhaps they're just late.

I saw Barefoot in the Park tonight. Patrick Wilson gave a speech and they are giving away signed posters for $40.

Nothing from Hairspray? No speech after the show today...

Last November I saw Naken Girl on the Appian Way, then ran over to the Golden and was still able to buy one of the "It Sucks to Be Me" buttons. So it is quite possible to get stuff from shows you didn't see, but you can't hover at another theatre. Once the audience from the show leaves, they pack it up and go.
Good luck! I'm seeing Wicked next month and the cookbook sounds like fun.
RABBIT HOLE is doing fundraising too. A friend of mine saw it Weds afternoon and said Cynthia gave the speech.

It'd be great if they did a Sweeney cookbook. Incorportae traditional London foods with cast's favorite recipe.
I love fundraising time! Wish I could be in the city.
Not sure if Jersey Boys is participating (they most likely are), but they're selling items on eBay to benefit BC/EFA. Check it out!

Up to a hundred for a signed poster? I got lucky. My signed Chicago one was only thirty at a silent auction for the state high school thespian conference.
