There is no guarantee of a full production yet.

The story also said:

"Roundabout Theatre Company will sponsor a Condon-helmed spring reading of the new material, Playbill.com has learned. No casting has been revealed. A late May presentation date is likely.

As is the custom with developmental readings at the Roundabout, there is no promise that Side Show will get a full production at the not-for-profit, but the reading news is enough to whet the appetite of countless fans who cherish the cast album of the pop-and-pastiche infused score."

I LOVE Side Show. LOVE the OBC on the CD.

But it's also time for some fresh twins. And a completely new cast, too.

Isn't Sara like 12 feet tall? How tall is Rachel? Vocally they would be amazing but would they look good side by side?

They are both around 5'10" - very close in height. And their builds are almost identical.

I am very, very attached to this show and the OBC. However, I don't think Alice and Emily will ever play the twins in a full production again (and I realize this article refers to just a reading). I would think it would be a been there, done that kind of thing.

Concert with the full OBC? I would be there in a minute.

Here's hoping that this does get a revival by Roundabout, I didn't discover it until it was too late. So another chance to see it would be amazing.

I post that again bec. I knew for a FACT that theater people (insiders) read this message board..who nows Bill Condon & the Roundabout might be reading this? One can only hope! btw- that's not my idea.. someone suggested the two.. I just put their photos together..whoever thought of the two.. its a brilliant idea!

I love Sarah Gettelfinger and I would kill to see her as one of the Hilton Twins..

I just wish they would do it without changing the show. It is a great show as written.
