I did a search, but found nothing (if there was something, I am sure someone is going to post a link to make me feel stupid) on this.
Question. Does anyone else have a BILLY Playbill that becomes a SPAMALOT Playbill mid-way through? I have been sitting here writing an article on the show, went to the Playbill to get a reference...and then right after Grady McLeod Bowman's bio, it goes right to a bio of Michael Sibbery's Arthur at the top of the facing page. The first clue was when I saw that Eric Idle was there in bios as music, songs, and lyrics! Even the pics in the SPAMALOT part are from the BILLY ensemble.
Very strange. Just wanted to see if anyone noticed this or has one of these.
(NOTE: I do also have a "normal" Playbill from the same perf.)
Seriously...a bit odd to see Clay Aiken playing Sir Robin in BE! Makes one hurt a little bit inside.
:) lol can you provide a picture?
I don't have a scanner, and my digital is a work. I will post tomorrow. It is too strange. I just called the two people I went with and they have the "normal" ones. I just normally do a "snatch and grab" when leaving the theater for the folks at home who want a Playbill (and the usher at the Imperial told me to take as many as I wanted), and two of the 6 I grabbed have the SPAMALOT stuff.
It is Playbill's way of punishing people who grab more than one program.

A similar thing happened to me when I saw Legally Blonde. About halfway through the playbill it became Hairspray, it was quite confusing for a minute. This was in January though...
Thanks, Smaxie. I asked. Does that absolve me at all? She (being said usher) told me to take as many as I would like.

Very strange indeed! Kind of like that upside down air-mail stamp from way back when. Try e-bay, maybe you can get something for it.
I have a Spring Awakening Playbill from May 2007 that turns into a LoveMusik one half way through. Not uncommon, I guess.
I have never seen or heard of this phenomenon before. Strange!!!
It doesn't sound so much like it's been misprinted.... they've just been misbound. This happens sometime with books where you jump from page 25 to 107 or something. Just an error in the binding process.

It happened when the switched over to the playbills for november. They were just misbound.
