Makes me so happy to hear that the demand to rush tickets is picking up! But reminds that I missed the grosses yesterday, gotta go find them and have a look.

Remembered correctly. Well, if they add 6% and $50,000 each week from now on, they'll be happy as a clam in no time
Fingers crossed the upward trend continues and they get a few more awards come Drama Desk time!

I rushed it shortly before Tony noms were announced; arrived around 50 minutes before curtain and got first row orch, side aisle across from center. Not bad at all. But I think if I'd wanted more than one ticket, I'd have been seated farther in to the side.

Does anyone know if there is a limit to how many rush tickets each person can purchase for this show? I know it's normally only two per person but it doesn't list a limit on their website or on any other site. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!! *On as side note, I loved it so much the first time I rushed it (Orch C3) I have to go back. :)

www.broadwayforbrokepeople.com Says 2 per person. Playbill.com didn't specify

I went a couple weeks ago about an hour before curtain and got front mezzanine seats for rush, but since a lot of the seats were empty we moved to the center mezzanine to seats a little higher. The view was great so I definitely recommend rushing the show.

I rushed this past Sunday. I was first in line at 9 for box office opening at 12. By 10:15 there were about 20 ppl and increased from there.
i got front row center which was a terrible seat. At intermission I moved to side mezz, 2nd row from last row. Much better seat. There were many empty seats there. Dont bother asking the house manager to move. She lied and said there were no empty seats anywhere since it was sold out.
$30, limit 2, cash or credit.

What made it a terrible seat? I have seen Bright Star twice so far, from center orch row A (3rd row), and Left orch row C (4th row). The front row doesn't look bad?

Went last Thursday with a friend around 9 a.m. (6th and 7th in line) and got three tickets in the left box. Left a little upset, but after seeing the show, I can't imagine a better seat. Not quite sure how they're doing rush, though; a friend tried to get a rush ticket around 4 p.m. and they told him they were out and offered him a discounted balcony ticket ($39?) instead, but I had another friend go around an hour later and they offered her a $30 rush ticket in the front of the mezz.

Rushed this morning for the matinee; didn't get there until about 10:10am and the line was very long. I got a mezzanine left box seat. Not sure what the view will be like but will report back :)

Was sitting in the 2nd mezz box on the left against railing, front seat and it was a fantastic view. Steve Martin played the Entr'acte, the audience went nuts.

Are rush tickets available as soon as the box office opens? Or are the available at a specific time?

Does anyone know if they're doing a rush and lottery or if they've moved on to just the lottery? Also, does anyone know how much lottery tickets are?

For what it's worth, I was looking at tickets for a date in July and the front row was on sale. From what I've read here, it would appear that the box seats have taken the place or will be taking the place of the front row in terms of what's being offered at the discounted price.

According to Broadwayforbrokepeople they have a $30 rush AND a $35 digital lottery, and my friend rushed last night, so the rush is definitely still around.

Has anyone tried the lottery, and if so where were the seats? Do you think lottery seats would be slightly better than rush seats for this show?

I'm curious has anyone tried to rush for tickets since the closing date has been announced? What time did you get there and how long were the lines?!

A friend of mine got there around 11:30 this afternoon and they were out of rush tickets. She was informed that they sold out of rush in the first 5-10 mins. They didn't have any of the $39 (theatermania discount) balcony seats left either.
