Scripps: It'll be doubly good if you buy a UFO ticket or three.
And why do I half expect to see a conveniently photoshopped picture of Sam in certain weekly publications soon including lines like "versatile" "rate payable in west end tickets"
"I'm broke and can't justify going to another show" is relatively neutral, elicits sympathy, and reflects on both the suck factor of being young and our trying economic times.
"I can't go to anything unless someone buys me a ticket" combined with other posts in recent history elicits "I'm broke and it sucks" but also "I'll go with you for a price."
Seriously, there are tonnes of ways to get free tickets in this city. You've got the U26 plan on your side plus more grown up options such as seat filling organisations (I do love me the seat filling organisations). I'm broke as broke can be and can't honestly remember the last time I actually paid for a ticket, but I still tend to hit the theatre once or twice a week and could easily go every night for the price of the tube and a cup of coffee. I may not be seeing the hottest things in town, but I've been to my fair share of the West End lately all the same.
To those who mistook my post as being serious in any way, shape or form, it was a cheecky comment, that was meant in humour, and i'd never expect anyone to buy me a ticket to show just because i mentioned it on an internet message board. And appologies if any of my other posts in recent history have lead people to think im a slut.
