Pretty neat. Staging is innovative. Singing is stellar.
That was great. I have a few friends that went to BYU for their performing arts program and they are all so talented. Thanks
She had that Shoshana thing going on.
DAMN! That was good!
BRAVO to all involved - especially the actress playing Elphaba!
WELL DONE!
VERY impressive...helps remind me of why I still love that song after all these years!
That cannot be from an actual full-length production, can it? I didn't think the rights to the show were available yet.

I thought it was illegal to even stage a number with the costumes...
and innovative staging...? What?
Dittos, I got major chills at the end. Loved that!
That was a wonderful clip, thanks for sharing.
The staging was great, loved how the witch's shadow looked.

her "Downs" were really spectacular. Beautiful Belt

It's not. It's the BYU Young Ambassadors.

Ick. I've heard it all before. Terrible riffing.

yeah, she was good with the glinda, and kinda was mediocre during her ending bit until the Bring Me Downs, which were good! but like ljay889 said, we heard this all before. elphaba does have a nice quality to her voice though!
I don't know but that looked kind of sketch.

Sketch? How?
Clearly it's not from a staged production of the show, given the fact that both characters are wearing the wrong costumes.
For what it was, it was a great performance. At least they got Elphaba off the ground, they didn't just have her stand on a box or have her run downstage...
I thought it was good. Like someone else said, they atleast got her off the ground.

Brava! That lady should audition.
Thanks for posting! That was wonderful!
Wow, that was really much much more impressive than I expected, and the riffing at the end was quite good. Those girls have great potential.

Did You Tube switch videos or something? It seemed like a high school swing choir after a case of beer. What was that "flying"? Do they not teach lighting design? If so, the lighting person only took the class for On and Off.

that was good. They got her off the ground, the singing was pretty good (some off parts but its a hard song to sing, But I dont like her end riff, it sounds nice...but sometimes the riffing gets old...at least its an original riff :)
wow, I really enjoyed that! Thanks for sharing.

At least she knows how to breath like a singer.. unlike a certain gaspy flat Tony-winner for that role.
I love how they didn't even bother to hide the cherry picker with extra fabric :p
