WOW. That was so sad to see this show go. Joey was good (I can't belive i'm saying that) and Snow was great! I took pictures during the finale and the end of the show, I'll post them here soon. I was front row Mezz. so i think i got some great pictures.
After the show Rob spoke a few words about Little Shop, and Hunter came to the stage, as well as the great Alan Menken, Jerry Zaks, and many more. They all sang a "goodbye" song to little shop, and then the show ended.
Thats was a very sad night.. If you could see how Carla, Trisha, and Dequina cried..
Well, i'll be posting my pictures here very soon..

I was there too, it was heart-breaking. Everyone seemed very sad. Great to see Hunter there, supporting the new cast.
What a sad closing of such a great show

They're probably partying this minute. Can't wait to see pics on Broadway.com.
At least we still have the tour running.

P.S. You can't post those pics--they are extremely illegal.

Bway37, I sat in row F, orchestra.
No, Kerry was not there... well, they didn't ask her to join them on stage, so I guess she wasn't there (Hunter joined them on stage).

Posted: 8/22/04 at 11:32pmI'd forgotten that since LSOH has closed, that frees up Jessica-Snow Wilson to rejoin the Les Miz tour as Eponine in the fall. I hope she doesn't.

re: Back from Little Shop's last performance...#14
Posted: 8/22/04 at 11:35pmWell, i don't think so, because after the show (stage door) someone asked her what she is doing now (after little shop) and she said "Nothing yet".

I liked Wilson as Eponine when I saw her...
Anyway, I too was there this evening. I really enjoyed the "new" cast. (I say new because I saw the OBC a bunch of times and not the replacements) The only thing that didn't thrill me was Robert replacing Doug. He just wasn't as good.
I was glad to see Hunter there though.

That's a relief.
Not that I ever wish unemployement on people, but she was one of the worst Eponines I ever saw.

Do you remember the kissing part (after suddenly seymour)?
It was SO FUNNY TONIGHT!!

Ha, the kissing scene really made me laugh tonight. I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed Joey Fatone's performance. I thought he was really good. And I'm usually not a fan of stunt casting.

Posted: 8/22/04 at 11:43pmIt was a great finale for LSOH tonight. The National Tour is now enroute to a Tues night start in LA at the Ahmanson. I strongly urge everyone to catch this wonderful show now starring Anthony Rapp and Tari Kelly. It tours at least through late 2005.
