She doesn't have the comedic timing skills to play Glinda. She missed the timing of every joke in Legally Blonde, and was kind of winking at the audience every time she said anything trying to land the laugh.

Reviews and the like
JoeKv99, I think she'll have the chance to play it senior year of high school. That means she'll rehearse like 3 hours after school M-F and unfortunately, no play. But, she will get to perform as Glinda!
i love it that all the people responding in this thread (save me) have joined this site in the past year. Do you guys drive yet? Your ignorance concerning talent in this industry is wonderfully apparent. Next you will say that Cheyenne should be Benjamin Barker in the next revival of Sweeney Todd (my guess is you are googling who benjamin barker is right now) Or Laura Bell Bundy should be Eliza Doolittle. Or Annaleigh Ashford should be Effie in Dreamgirls. Unreal. And i love how the original poster says that "everyone" is saying that Bailey should be Glinda. Golly. Who is everyone? your junior high chorus class? And if Autumn should be in wicked she would have been in for it by now and not gotten cast. I am pretty confident that she had to have gone in for glinda/ephaba/nessarose at some point in the past 5 years, if she has an agent, which she does.
I love that Ms. Hurlburt went in for Legally Blonde originally but didn't get cast by the creatives so she had to resort to a reality show to get in. Good times for the professionalism of Broadway. There are 25,000 Female Equity members. And you people think Bailey Hanks and autumn hurlburt are the only blonde (fake blonde) talented ones because you saw them on channel 25 on your cable box singing "oh my God oh my God you guys". Do some research people.
This is the most entertainment since "i love NY" went off the air. Thanks for the free laughs! Keep it up kids!

ok, just because i like autumns voice does not make me have bad taste or anything.. maybe you are just too bitter and old... hmm yeah, i think thats it because i am def not a kid thank you very much i just happen to think that being on the reality show was a very wise move on autumns case in getting her name out there... she obviously has talent and no, i could NEVER see her playing glinda like you suggest... sorry, nope
I love the fact that Mass is calling people ignorant but didn't captalize half the "I's" in his rant. Maybe you could ask that junior high chorus class for grammar tips.
Pianolin- I have to be completely honest and say if you are not in HS (presumably over 18...) no you are not a kid. Hope this doesn't offend but you look really young for your age. Though I don't know your age, based on that pic I wouldn't have thought you were close to over 18.
If you're an actor, that's great! They always like adults who can play younger!! Sorry again, I just assumed you were younger based on the picture
It's true, Pianolin. I got a friend who's 15 and she looks like she's 10 and she played Mary Lennox last year in her school's production of The Secret Garden.

just because im in high school doesnt automatically make me a fangirl/fanboy or whatever.
it doesnt mean i dont appreciate any kind of theater besides the normal teen grasps like spring awakening , wicked, and legally blonde.
too bad some of my favorite shows are gypsy and a chorus line
i know what an equity actor is
its a group whcih states they are a proffesional actor and can say they have health care benefits and what not
i hate when older people think teenagers know nothing about theater besides fluffy pop musicals
