I think this is a very enticing commercial. Thoughts?

I already have my ticket for this show but when I saw this commercial on Sunday morning I literally said "that commercial would make me buy a ticket." I loved all the close-ups and the lighting.

Really impressed with this spot. Curious how much the production creative team was involved in the development. The little bit of choreo / movement reminded me how excited I am to see what Andy Blankenbuehler does with this.

THIS is how you take a show that doesn't have an immediate market and make it appealing. Killer start to Bandstand's ad campaign—I'm even considering snagging a ticket now.

This promo feels wonderfully cinematic! I almost wish this were next year's La La Land. Damien Chazelle, ever tried your hand at an adaptation? Bueller?

This spot is PERFECT! Very excited to see what changes they have made since the Paper Mill run. I think Bandstand's marketing really is stunning and it makes me very interested in seeing the show again.

It is my understanding that Andy B. conceived and directed the commercial. It makes me suddenly more interested in seeing what he's done to make the upcoming TV remake of "Dirty Dancing" worthwhile.

If I hadn't read the reports on her from their Papermill run, that would have gotten me interested in seeing the show. It's still low on my list of priorities but it was definitely smart to play up the Hamilton connection for a show without mainstream "stars". I did find it a little funny that they cut it off right before Laura was presumably going to sing.

I agree about the reports from PaperMill. But Andy is one of those guys who never stops working on something. And his cutting the end of the shot with Laura about to sing is probably a nod to one of the larger plot points.

I do wish it was Jeremy Jordan in this though. Anybody else agree with me?

The curling iron couldn't have made its way to the back of Ms. Osnes' head...? Ya know since you're shooting her from behind for a portion of the commercial?

It's a great commercial, but it does feel that no one cares about this one.
Laura sounds great in the new song written.
