I'm so excited about seeing her tomorrow night in Chicago!
That setlist has a little of everything I've loved about Barbra. Hearing "My Man" live is gonna destroy me. hehehe, I can't wait.
Based on that set list, I was surprised she only sang one new song from her newest album, but with a career as long as hers I suppose she has to be judicious. I really like Don’t Lie To Me, but I suppose she didn’t want to create too dark and angry of an atmosphere. Also no songs from Yentl which surprises a little.

Was this show just a reboot f her last tour? Or was it staged differently? Any guests?
i didn't go, but from what everyone is reporting who did go, it's a completely different show from a few years ago. This one is the same show she did in Hyde Park, early last month - though at MSG she had no surprise guests.
Would have loved to have seen her again. The last concert, "MUSIC/MEMORIES" had too many songs from the album, no guest stars and I was hoping for more of her hits. I have always wanted to see her since "A Star Is Born" came out and she didn't disappoint!

Last night, it was a treat to see Ariana Grande perform "No More Tears" in Chicago.
This tour seemed more politically motivated, at least Act II did. It was fabulous.
In Chicago, some nosebleed seats dropped to $9 an hour before showtime on StubHub.
There were several outer stratosphere seats available for $20-$25 on StubHub all day long.
Several patrons lucked out with upgraded seats at the door, as several rows in the uppermost parts of the United Center were covered with dark gray fabric. It looked like that decision was made as the concert date drew near.
I sat in the top row near the two spotlight operators.
Loved the performance and the stories between songs.
Her Back to Brooklyn concert was far superior and boy was she in fine voice back in 2012 w/a 60 piece orchestra - Il Volo, Chris Botti, her son Jason and the BK youth choir for the finale. Now that was an unforgetable night! MSG was still enjoyable but her voice is strained but still in ok shape. She sat pretty much for both acts -leaning on the chair most of the time. Her performance lacked energy a bit tedious yet she's still a damn legend and gives a good show.
