Where was Mary? I thought she'd be there for Barrett's last show.
Barrett sent you packin' just like the rest of us.

Saw him in "Kept" a few seasons ago in the SF Bay Area.
Those pictures are so funny. Those clothes are so tacky.
That made me laugh. It made me forget that I lost the lottery.
Thanks, Jimmmy.
You lost.
Corine2- What is your PURPOSE?
My purpose?
I am content with Corine's Corner. But, my dream is to work for NY1 someday. With Clover! Well, she is cool.
Or, I could do PR for Barrett Foa. HA!
PS I am looking for work.

Nobody went?!?
We need a review!
A friend of mine went tonight and mary was not there tonight. He said that there was no annoucement that this was his last performance. Kind of sad if you ask me. He has been such a good addition to the show and for such a long time and for him not to even be mentioned is sad.

"and for him not to even be mentioned is sad."
What do you mean he wasn't mentioned? Did he make a little speech at the end? Was he teary at all?
Does anyone know WHY Mary wasn't in today?
No there was no mention of him at the end of the show, it just ended, and they all did their final bow. There was no speech that he gave. I am sure that was a cast party after ward because he was dressed up. My friend said that he was carrying all of his stuff in a box. I had talked to him after a performance of "...Men" and he said that he is excited to start the Spelling Bee.
no mention of him at the end of the show is sad. i guess if you're not someone like idina, then no one cares.

BroadwayRandy- do you know why Mary was out?
Did you friend talk to him after the show?
But what gets me is when other shows have big goodbyes for their lead roles. For instance when Megan Hilty left Wicked she had a big goodbye. Maybe Barrett did not want his experience to end that way.
Yeah my friend talked to him after the show. We have kind of built a relationship with Barrett. He did not ask about why Mary was out though.

How come you didn't go?
Were there a ton of people at the stage door?
Was Barrett at all teary during the performance?
I didn't go because I am at work tonight and I live in Texas. My partner lives in NYC and went to the show and he just told me everything that happened. He said that Barretts' performance was stronger than the rest of the cast and no he was not teary eyed during the show. I guess they do not let their emotions get a hold of them during. I am excited to see him in the Spelling Bee. A new role is a good thing. I guess he did not want to get type-casted.

ok- thanks guys!
I just thought Mary would be there since it was his last day.
I think I remember hearing that on Johnny's last day he got a bit teary.
I don't think any of the Q cast really has a big (public) goodbye like some Wicked cast members.

Apparently there was a party for him after the show. But other than that, it's just another day. Life goes on.
Well, Barrett rocks. If I was there I would be very teary eyed.
He is the greatest. Congratulations, Barrett.
I can't wait to see you in Bee.

Mary and Jen were both on vacation so Aymee Garcia went on as Kate and Becca Ayers was on as Mrs. T/Bear/etc. Barrett definately had a lot of fans in the audience and they went nuts for him. There was no speech or anything, but at Q its usually the actor who speaks and its up to them wether they want to or not. Barrett hasn't been there since the very begining, but close, he joined as an understudy in Dec 2003. There were a lot of people at the stage door and Barrett stuck around for a while to sign and take pictures with everybody.
If you want to leave Barrett a message, sign his guestbook. I've heard that he reads all the messages there.
BARRETT'S GUESTBOOK
I love barret! he is so amazing in Q i think hes much better than John. Its saad that hes leaving but Im glad hes going to B i think he'll Be great. thought Its sad thats hes not getting to create a role he so deservs it so much. I think its awful that they didnt acknowlage his leaving i mean hes been with the show from the beginning

The Q company did aknowledge his leaving, they made him a very nice party. Most shows do not make a big deal on stage about an cast member leaving. If Barrett wanted to say something, I'm sure he would've when Rick Lyon left the cast there were no speeches either because he didnt want them. And he's pretty much one of the creators of the show.
Congratulations, Barrett.
You have found your "Purpose"
You are a shining star.
Much love,
