Since Barrett is leaving Avenue Q on Sunday. Let's show him our appreciation and wish him well in Spelling Bee.


PS I will miss seeing you in Q, Foa. You were wonderful.

Yes, a shout-out to Barrett for the dazzling performances he has been giving this last week of his Avenue Q run. He sure is giving his "all" to the show he is leaving on Sunday...

Looking forward to seeing him in a new role, even though he will be much missed in Avenue Q.

It's sad to see him leave a great show, but somehow sweet that he's going to another good piece.

Got tickets for Sunday at 7pm! Whew.

Barrett deserves an original role in a new production though.

I will be trying for the Lottery on Sunday! I have tried most of this week and last. I can't crack that lottery.
After 6 times, I just can't sit in the back.

Hope I win either tonight or on Sunday.

I saw Barrett for the first time last week, and he was simply amazing! He stole the show for me, and he will truly be missed. I wish him the best of luck.

Barrett was great in the show, such a great performer. But it's good that he's not getting stuck with it and trying other things.

When I saw Avenue Q, Barrett stood out in the cast. I had been in love with the cast recording and didn't think that anyone could beat John but I was proved wrong. Barrett was simply wonderful and so sweet at the stage door. Glad he's moving on to another show so quickly.

i definitely agree with everyone that he is simply amazing in the show! it's such a shame to see him leave the role, because it seems to fit him so well. but i am glad that he's going to another great show. i wish i could be up there to see the last show with him, but apparently splurges to new york for a weekend are not in my budget. lol.

His fans must be there for the final weekend because his reception at today's Sat. matinee curtain was thunderous.

Veteran of the show, Jennifer Barnhart went on for Mary Faber as Kate Monster...(she's usually Lucy the Slut, the bears, and other roles - the sexy blonde).

I'm sure Barrett will be exceptionally well received for his final three performances.

We're not saying or acting like he's dying. We all know he is moving to another theatre. It doesn't mean that we won't miss him in Avenue Q.
It seems you think we are acting like people did when Idina broke a rib.

Let us swoon over him, let us talk about how we enjoyed him in Avenue Q. I'm pretty sure that's why Corine made this thread.

By far she was more prolific during her theatrical career than our poor poor dearly departed Barret Foa.

Cynics take the fun out of everything. Maybe that is why so many of them end up committing suicide....like poor George Sanders.

So, RIP George Sanders.

Meanwhile, I'm off to see Barrett's Saturday evening performance-still a lot of life left there. Don't dim those lights quite yet...

I wish I had known that Jen was on for Kate. I LOST THAT LOTTERY AGAIN.
SUCKS! Does anyone know if Jen will be Kate tomorrow?
