I thought it was cute. The documentary is more about a guy buying albums cause they're funny than actually about the history of industrials, tho. I wish they got more into The Millikan Show since that was the biggest one with the biggest Broadway names (no offense to anyone who did the huge and expensive shows in Detroit or Vegas).

I'm embarrassed to admit I fell asleep halfway through watching the film on Netflix.
I really enjoyed the first half, but after awhile, all those industrials began to sound the same to me. And as a previous poster noted, the film is more about the collector than it is about industrials per se.
But I do remember how much actors coveted those jobs back in the 1970s: short commitment, better than average pay, nice hotel rooms, congenial rehearsals, etc.

While an interesting topic, I really thought this would be more about the shows themselves and not so much the collector himself - and it seemed to just be more of the same thing over and over. I was expecting the focus or at least pacing to shift at some point. I would say the first 30 minutes are a good watch.
