I'll answer number 3 for you.

Her singing voice sounds exactly the same as it always has.

I waited for Bebe at the stage door when she was in CHICAGO. She said that she is not comfortable with pictures, so I respectfully did not take any, but she was very nice and signed for everyone who had waited.

Well, personally, I never thought Bebe's singing was anything to write home about. But if you're a fan of the voice, it's exactly the same as it always has been. She only has one big number, anyways.

Wish that she had more dancing.

Her voice was an acquired taste throughout the show. At the beginning, I was a little put off by it, but then as the show went on, I thought it was substantial, but nothing to write home about. I thought Morticia's voice should be very smooth and sleek, Bebe's voice is not smooth or sleek in general, which is not a problem, just my personal preference.

I think her voice goes very well with the Morticia Addams character..
I've always imagined Morticia (the cartoon) with a dark yet feminine voice, and I think Bebe's voice is good for that description, then she also looks adorable and very pretty as Morticia in my oppinion..
The musical cast are perfect in my oppinion, they all look like their characters, some of them even without their Addams make-up on..
I loved the old TV show, cartoons and movies so I'm thrilled they made this musical and can't wait to see the Broadway/NY version later this year!...

Kind regards.

Well this show doesn't really represent what made the Addams Family franchise so successful and endeared so you'll probably enjoy it if you hate the source material.

So you base seeing a show on whether or not one of the stars stage door?

She is a big supporter of Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS and is a frequent signer at the celebrity table. Met her several times through various reasons and she has never been anything but lovely.

I don't my previous post to see like I disliked her performance. I thought she gave one hell of a performance, just see the show and make your own opinions based off what you see. There have been many times when I buy tickets to a show I am so excited to see and get there and it was subpar at that, its okay if you don't like it, but know that you were open to the experience.

I'm sure as long as you're respectful of her and her performance in this role, she'll be fine. But if you're going to bring up past roles, expect a cold shoulder. When stage dooring was discussed at the talk she and several others did at the Times building, she explicitly said she doesn't like past roles being brought up as she is working hard at the role she is playing at that time. She cited an example of someone at the Chicago stage door saying something like "I never realized Lilith could dance!" which is just plain rude on the person's part, and she was understandably not thrilled with it. Be polite and respectful and discuss the role of Morticia and you should be fine.

Car Hoop? Really? How many different things can lovely mean??

She's great, she's a doll, she appears at SD frequently. Still no guarantee that any of those things will happen if/when you go.

There is no way to know from performance to performance if someone is going to do the stage door thing. Sometimes they aren't feeling well. Sometimes they have meetings. Sometimes they have something else going on after a show (I know someone in a dance-heavy show who had to do sessions with the show's physical therapist after each performance because of tendinitis and couldn't do the stage door thing for a while because of that).

The bottom line is, as an audience member, the stage door is icing and NOT a requirement of any performer. Their obligation to you as an audience member ends when the curtain comes down. If someone chooses to do the stage door thing, that is out of the goodness of their heart.

If you're coming to a city and to see a show merely to meet a performer after a show and really don't care about anything but meeting them at the stage door, you're really coming for the wrong reason. It should be about the show itself. NOT what may or may not happen afterwards.

HOW would we know how often she plans to do it? If she read this thread she'd be afraid of meeting a stalker and would stop coming out immediately.

Angelplays is right: the chance of meeting a specific actor is entirely the wrong reason to come to NY...even if you are 30 minutes away. Stay home and you won't be disappointed.

Most theaters have multiple exits so that if someone doesn't want to do the stage door thing for whatever reason they have an alternate exit.

If it's one autograph on a playbill, and frankly with your attitude ("I don't really like her that much anymore..."), you'd be better off sending her the playbill with a self-addressed stamped envelope for her to sign and return to you.

I really don’t think you should go to the show with that attitude..
And yes I agree, if you’re so eager to complete your playbill, and just want to go for that, sent her the playbill to sign it for you instead,.. And just a good idea, don’t write “I don’t like you that much” etc. (as you’re writing here) in the letter Bebe and Addams No offense, but you should know what I mean... :)
Anyways, what I have heard from those people I know, who have seen the Addams Family in New York and been to the stage door there afterwards, she’s coming out to sign after almost every performance (not, or very rarely at the matinee performances though)..
She’s very nice to sign playbills etc. no matter how little or many people there are,.. And most of the times she says yes to pictures too.. She seems a very polite and cute lady actually, ..
Just treat her nice, and then I’m pretty sure she will be nice to you too, why shouldn’t she?..

Kind regards.
