FINALLY? It only closed off B'way a few weeks ago. These things take time!
I'm not sure if this is the best career move he can make, but I suppose that really depends on in what medium he really wants to work.
That's a shame. I would have liked to have seen him try to do both.
I have heard that a transfer is being planned for the spring. Which makes the most sense, so that it will definitely be around for Tony time.

Well he just screwed himself out of a career.
It wasn't that he screwed himself, the shifty Fox people said he was too old, AFTER casting him
"Well he just screwed himself out of a career."
Hardly.

The idea that he turned it down for BBAJ is interesting. I have to imagine it's probably the worse career move if it was actually his choice, though. Much as I want to see him transfer with BBAJ.
With Fox's track record ever since 2006, I think he dodged a very big bullet.
Nonsense, it's Matthew Vaughn and Bryan Singer.

Yep, now he really lost a career.
I just don't think it really matters very much what talent is involved, though I wish it did. Fox will always rush it into production and then make sure it's cut into something that looks and plays like a CW pilot that can fit into as many showtimes as possible. This has happened with every one of their action movies released after the really wonderful X-Men 2, thanks to Tom Rothman. I don't think X-Men Babies, or whatever they're calling it, will be an exception. The concept sounds like a move toward that direction further, if anything.
With the number of characters in the film and the fact that Beast has already been played by a better-known actor just a few years ago, I feel like this isn't exactly a career-maker. I'm sure it's a more lucrative job, but I'm glad that he either made or was forced to make the decision with artistic integrity and I think we will all be better off as audience members for it. Hopefully it will be a good move for him, as well.

I don't agree. Fox has taken an interesting turn lately with Avatar, and Predators. Heck, even The A Team and Knight And Day weren't their usually 90 minute flair.
Bryan Singer back on board, and Matthew Vaughn directing definitely is a LEAP forward from X3 and Wolverine.
