Bettyboy, I plan to! I have been humming "Children Will Listen" all morning.
As far as I know, it will be just her tonight with the symphony. Some of the songs you listed were in the review I read. Very interested in hearing her sing Johanna. It should be a wonderful night. Work for me has been Hell so this is my treat to myself!!
She is in beyond excellent voice and sounds stunning. Her Johanna is one of my favorites of all time. She just nails it. She cried several times while singing too. Her concert last week was my treat for a hell week and it was exactly what I needed. HAVE FUN!!!!!
I'm seeing her on October 11th
SEASON PREMIERE IS UP.
go to Abc.com and go to "Full Episodes" and then Grey's
I didn't watch but I am in awe of Bernadette Peters. The fact that she is in her 60's and she is so beautiful and youthful and talented. Broadway misses her, she needs to come back SOON.
We were watching the Odyssey in my English class yesterday when Bernadette comes on screen and I'm like "Oh my gawd!!!!" Of course no one knew who she was but it make be happy inside. :)
Well I saw her on Friday. After her opener, We're in the Money/Let Me Entertain You, she siad hello and immediately said, "So, I was on Grey's Anatomy last night". Lots of applause so most people there saw her. She talked about how she got to meet McSteamy and McDreamy. Then she said how happy she was that her character didn't die. She talked a bit about that and how her character in her next movie doesn't die either and how happy she is about that. I think the next one is on TLC.
I can't wait to see this! I have it saved but haven't watched it yet. I saw her live when she was in San Francisco at the end of July and she was fabulous. I've seen her the last 4 times she was in SF and this was one of her best. It's like she hasn't aged at all! I remember the first time I saw her sing Johanna live--must be a decade or more ago--and she was just as mesmerizing this time.
The "next" movie role she was talking about is the movie Living Proof which will be on Lifetime not TLC. Big, all-star cast and looks to be a very good movie.
Yeah, that's the one. I knew it was on one of those two.
