Wow! What did she sing? A medley from SONG & DANCE?
I can't believe no one had mentioned before that GREY'S ANATOMY was doing a musical episode tonight.
Damn!

I feel so bad for her!!!!! ANd she looks phenomenal for a woman of her 60's! Heck, she looks amazing for a woman of 40!
A great start to the season.

Brody was just being his normal lovely self. The episode is not a musical.

No, it's not a musical episode.
I screamed like a little girl when she came out of the limo with blood on her.
She's doing great! I thought the same thing when I saw her in her dress. She looks like she did in Into the Woods.

I just turned it on after seeing this thread, when she and her "friend" were in the husband's room. Still watching, of course. She is so talented, why in the world doesn't she do more tv/film?
Brian had sex, with a really dumb girl, now he's taking his friend Stewie, to get some ice cream, in his car.

I also LOVE Sara's first lesbian love. SO awkward and cute!
But Bernadette was my favorite part of the episode.

She's so, so watchable. God, she's good.
Not only do I want to see her back on Broadway, but somebody give this beautiful, talented, classy lady some film and television roles!
What a gem!

I also screamed when she came out of that limo. Bernadette is perfection. She just played here in Buffalo last Saturday and she looked better than ever. Just stunning in a low cut dress with a high slit up the leg. She is ever the bombshell. I think she is only doing raw foods now. Whatever she is doing, IT WORKS!!!! Her voice was stunning. The woman is a dynamo. Such a vulnerable actress. I must say it was a little odd because Bernadette was giving so much in terms of emotion and Kathy Baker was kind of flat the whole time and never shed a tear and Bernadette was crying up a storm. Oh well, we need more Bernadette on TV. She is divine.
That icicle storyline was broke-ass stupid though. Uhhh, body heat would hve melted that in 10 minutes. Duh!

I was on the phone walking around my apt, turned to the TV and there she was! I couldn't watch because of the call I was on! I was so upset. Have to watch the re-run or watch it online. And I am seeing her in concert tonight here in Denver. Pretty excited!

I loved this. I was excited at how close to the original INTO THE WOODS witch dress her costume was
She had me in tears
Not really a GREYs fan, but this was good.
The icicle thing was beyond dumb, though.

uncageg -- a suggestion... Tivo or DVR saves the day. If you're not interested in the whole Tivo thing, your cable or satellite provider does have DVRs. You'll never miss anything ever again PLUS you don't have to be home anymore or worried about missing anything. Also, if you're watching a show and get a call or have to do something, you can easily pause the show and continue watching it when you come back into the room. If you just don't want to watch it period, just click on the record button and it'll record the whole show from the beginning and you can just shut the TV off and leave or whatever.

Brody....I know what DVR's and Tivo's are and what they do, thank you. I choose to have neither. I still use my VCR when I want to tape something. However, I was planning on being home to actually watch Grey's. I did get home but got on a call that was a bit more important than remembering to hit the record button on my machine.

I also screamed when she stepped out of the limo. I couldn't believe that they didn't RECOGNIZE her!
And then,
I realized I'm an idiot...

Anyone seen the show that she's touring with this year? It's finishing up soon, but has a stop near me and wanted to know what kind of songs she's doing... Is there a thread on this already?

I am seeing her tonight (I posted that above). I will report back on how she was. I read a review from San Fran and she does a lot of Sondheim stuff. (Of Course). I read she was also doing songs from shows she was in that her character did not sing.

I saw her last Satuday and she performed:
Let Me Entertain You
Fever (very hot and sexy)
Mr. Snow
Johanna
Some Enchanted Evening
Nothing Like A Dame
Being Alive
You Could Drive A Person Crazy
Not A Day Goes By
No One Is Alone
Children Will Listen
It Might As Well Be Spring
Happiness
Time Heals Everything
Kramer's Song (the song she wrote her children's book)
She also told several stories and bantered with the audience.
She was second act in a POPS Concert so the amount of songs she sang might have been truncated. She played a good 90 minutes though.
UNCAGEG-Enjoy the Denver show!!!! You will be beaming!!!
